Fun, but expensive. Rides are very old. Food is terrible and expensive. Tilt a whirl car came off the track while wife was on. Seems for $20 a head, some updates could be made.

We would visit the old Paul Bunyan Land when our children were young. This place brought back so many good memories. It is better than ever. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Paul Bunyan Land is on the short list of things our grandkids want to do every summer. They are geared totally to kids and our kids have a blast. Lines are short and rides are fun - for young kids. You will not find better bumper cars anywhere.

Brought my grandson here last summer and he loved it. Small enough that you're not shoulder to shoulder with other people, but plenty of attractions and rides to keep us busy for a few hours.

This is a fun little place to visit in the Brainard area on a nice day. The antiques are neatly organized in cute themed buildings. The park area is nice and clean and well organized. The rides are carnival rides and geared toward children under the age of 15. I would suggest avoiding the roller coaster and bumper cars though... More

From their web page: "Pioneer Village is the largest one man collection of antiques from the late 1800's to early 1900's in Minnesota." This is mostly rusted not cared for junk mostly piled up in buildings. A few displays in so called stores are full of cobwebs and dust. The rides are the ones from the original Paul Bunyan 60's... Just like in many of the other reviews, yes, Paul Bunyun land is for the younger kids, ages 3-8, however, when Paul Bunyun hollered out my 10 year olds name and where he was from he started geeking out. Yes, of course, it is a dude who reads off the info the parent give when they purchase tickets, but it... More

This is a nice amusement park for the younger kids, my 4 and 8 year old had a great time! My 2 year old was a little small for some of the rides, but enjoyed what she could do. All of them were fascinated by Paul Bunyan! He is wonderful and interacts with you if you take some time to... More

Took the family to the park and everyone LOVED it. I remember going when I was a kid at the old location and this reminded me of those days. Nice to see my kids now enjoy this! The lines were short and they dont mess around with tickets so we often rode over and over again without even getting off... More

This is a very tired graveyard for amusement park rides from 50 years ago. Best geared for ages 3-7 at best. Seeing giant Paul talk is the highlight....the rest is just plain sad. But, thanks to Employee Ryan who was alive and enthusiastic and tried his darnedest to bring life to the place.
