This is a fun little place to visit in the Brainard area on a nice day. The antiques are neatly organized in cute themed buildings. The park area is nice and clean and well organized. The rides are carnival rides and geared toward children under the age of 15. I would suggest avoiding the roller coaster and bumper cars though... More

From their web page: "Pioneer Village is the largest one man collection of antiques from the late 1800's to early 1900's in Minnesota." This is mostly rusted not cared for junk mostly piled up in buildings. A few displays in so called stores are full of cobwebs and dust. The rides are the ones from the original Paul Bunyan 60's... Just like in many of the other reviews, yes, Paul Bunyun land is for the younger kids, ages 3-8, however, when Paul Bunyun hollered out my 10 year olds name and where he was from he started geeking out. Yes, of course, it is a dude who reads off the info the parent give when they purchase tickets, but it... More

This is a nice amusement park for the younger kids, my 4 and 8 year old had a great time! My 2 year old was a little small for some of the rides, but enjoyed what she could do. All of them were fascinated by Paul Bunyan! He is wonderful and interacts with you if you take some time to... More

Took the family to the park and everyone LOVED it. I remember going when I was a kid at the old location and this reminded me of those days. Nice to see my kids now enjoy this! The lines were short and they dont mess around with tickets so we often rode over and over again without even getting off... More

This is a very tired graveyard for amusement park rides from 50 years ago. Best geared for ages 3-7 at best. Seeing giant Paul talk is the highlight....the rest is just plain sad. But, thanks to Employee Ryan who was alive and enthusiastic and tried his darnedest to bring life to the place.

Lots of nostalgia provided. plenty of fun for all ages. The concessions only serve burgers, dogs, fries, candy, slushies and really good deep fried cheese curds.

great place for the smaller kids. Fun to learn about old farm history and facts about Paul Bunyan. The thing I remember most from my visit when I was a kid was how Paul knows every ones name and their town as they enter his park.

I miss the original Paul Bunyan land in downtown Brainerd, that my parents used to take me to as a kid. I couldn't wait to go year after year. It was a fun, family park, unique to Minnesota. It now looks like a small county fair that has a campground on it. (Is that where the park runners live? ie.... More
