Love the Stingrays

Very nice aquarium and the stingray exhibit is fun! Its a little over priced but I realize the care of the animals is expensive.

The sentient beings should not be kept in zoos and aquariums! Animal rights activists oppose aquariums for the same reason they oppose zoos. Fish and other sea creatures, like their land-dwelling relatives, are sentient and have a right to live free from human exploitation. In addition, there are concerns about the treatment of the animals in captivity, especially marine mammals.... More

The stingray experience was great! Really very fun for the whole family. The exhibits are interesting. The whole thing lasted about 45 min. Too short for the money spent.

Our visit to the aquarium was a great experience for the whole family. I would definitely recommend adding the behind-the-scenes tour. PHIL was a fantastic tour guide. He brought us above the tanks where we got to see how they feed and manage the sea life. The kids enjoyed getting to meet the turtles. We never realized what personality they... More

A decent selection of some species, but very touristy (not surprising given its location in the Mall of America). Plaques and exhibits not very informative, did not have information on all the fish in the various tanks. Nice shark exhibit with several species. Very large touch tank. Would be good for young kids.

Sea Life was a more of a family type atmosphere, than a place for a couple of young adults to walk through. It seem like it took us five mintues to see everything they had to offer. If you were traveling with your young kids, I would defintaly say to give it a shot, but if your above the age... More

Hello, Thank you for your visit and posting your review. Our average length of stay at our aquarium is over 60 minutes depending on how many exhibits you stop at and read the educational interpretation. Thanks again, we hope to welcome you back so you can enjoy touching and feeding the stingrays in our new Stingray Adventure exhibit. More

Ok aquarium. Small, quick but nice. Doesn't compare to major aquariums. I felt it was over priced for the experience.

We really enjoyed the aquarium. After you buy your tickets you take a group picture that you can pay for later. Then you go downstairs and walk by their new touch tanks (not yet stocked as if 3/15/15). Then they have awesome stingray tank where you can touch and feed the skates and rays. From there you walk through various... More
