They packed a small space with a lot of science and fun for a variety of fun. When we walked in we were greeted with some small animals. A volunteer had a snake out of the cage and was allowing people to touch and handle. There are mind games to stump adults, an echo tube, telegraph, over sized bubble maker,... More

Great Views and info. Quite buggy. Stay away from any slow or non moving water...Leeches. Its a great place to go and then walk across the Mississippi (25 feet).

We stopped in here, which is located downtown, and honestly I wasn't expecting much. However, my kids, 14 and 3, both had so much fun here, and it turned out there was quite a lot to see and do here. I saw several teens here having fun trying out the different stations, as well as little ones, and all were... More

We took two 2 year olds and a 4 year old. They all found lots of things to entertain them! Some exhibits were too old for them but it was still worth the money for the fun they had! We brought a lunch and the staff allowed us to use the tables upstairs to eat our lunch after we checked... More

We needed some place to spend some time on a day to wet & cold to be outside, and this was a good choice for our science-oriented daughter. Some of the exhibits were a bit simplistic for her, but for younger ages they would have held her interest longer. We are used to our home town science center being free,... More

Hard to believe the the Mighty Mississippi start is so meek. Is was snowing when we were there and it gave a great wintery view for our pics.

This is one of the places that has had a really good influence on our son's life. Throughout grade school and then helping in high school he learned an amazing variety of knowledge about nature/animals, raptors, and reptiles. He spent many enjoyable learning hours with the staff. A wonderful experience for young(and old) people. A community treasure.

Went here with my 10 and 13 year olds on a rainy day in Bemidji. We loved it and spent about 3 hours exploring the different exhibits, looking at the animals etc. We especially liked trying to send each other morse code messages and all the brain games/puzzles.

This is a great place to take kids when in Bemidji. Terrific hands on activities and interactive exhibits related to science in general and Northwoods natural history as well. Special programming such as day camps and weekend workshops and after school science clubs as well. An annual family membership also allows you free admission to other science museums around the...
