We used to love Haserot beach. It was always pretty secluded, but over the last few years we've noticed a huge increase in visitors to the beach and sadly it's definitely no longer a secret or serene beach. We went today for the first time this summer and the beach was packed, right from the boat launch to the other... More

The beach is close to the tip of the Old Mission Peninsula, so it's quite a drive to get there, but if you take the trouble, you won't be disappointed. It's not well-signed, and is known mostly to the locals, and this means that it is quiet. A visit to the beach would fit in well with a visit to... More

in an out of the way place. Doesn't get much better than this on the Old Mission Peninsula. It's a nice place to hang out with a view over East Bay looking toward the east. The OMP is a special place - and it has it's fair share of upscale homes. But this is a place all can enjoy. Good... More

Came here with my friend to relax on the beach and take a swim. The swimming here is outstanding. I didn't want to get out of the water because it was so refreshing. What a nice place to spend a summer day when visiting Mission Peninsula. I love Haserot Beach!

A trip to the area is not complete without a visit to this "off the beaten path" beach where locals hang out as well. Also a great place to look for Petovsky Stones - near the boat ramp.

I live in TC, and most everyone agrees that the best beach in the city is Haserot. Not sure why it is spelled wrong in the title. Amazing sand

Hopefully this review doesn't get too many views, I like having this beach still relatively unknown. Great beach in a little cove near Old Mission.

The finest beach in the area - real sand and very clean. Playground for kids and deep water for adults. Nearby general store, museum, and excellent dining at the Old Misioin Tavern. And consider a stay at the historic Old Mission Inn.

If staying on the Old Mission Peninsula, be sure to check out Haserol Beach on the northeast side of the peninsula. It's a cute little beach. That said, it's really small -- I had hoped for a late afternoon beach stroll, but the shoreline is very short. The beach at Traverse City State Park was much better for a walk.

This is my favorite beach near Traverse City. It's not very crowded and has more of a local feel. The water is very calm and it's a nice stop after visiting wineries on Mission Penninsula.
