I live in TC, and most everyone agrees that the best beach in the city is Haserot. Not sure why it is spelled wrong in the title. Amazing sand

Hopefully this review doesn't get too many views, I like having this beach still relatively unknown. Great beach in a little cove near Old Mission.

The finest beach in the area - real sand and very clean. Playground for kids and deep water for adults. Nearby general store, museum, and excellent dining at the Old Misioin Tavern. And consider a stay at the historic Old Mission Inn.

If staying on the Old Mission Peninsula, be sure to check out Haserol Beach on the northeast side of the peninsula. It's a cute little beach. That said, it's really small -- I had hoped for a late afternoon beach stroll, but the shoreline is very short. The beach at Traverse City State Park was much better for a walk.

This is my favorite beach near Traverse City. It's not very crowded and has more of a local feel. The water is very calm and it's a nice stop after visiting wineries on Mission Penninsula.

The only southern side beach it is small but interesting. Another beautiful view of the area. The swimming area was much smaller than the others

Beach was relatively secluded and southern facing which was the draw for us. A bit of a cooler day when we were there so swimming was a bit of a challenge. Water was calm and paired w/ a lighthouse visit, cherry eating and stop at Big Dog Deli for lunch was a pleasant experience.

Sandy beach, clear water, not too busy during the week when we visited. Only an outhouse style toilet, but it was clean and well maintained.

This was a nice, clean little beach and a nice stop on our way back down the peninsula. Wind was unseasonably chilly but we still went wading and found a petosky stone.

Could have been time of year but water was nasty, yucky with seaweed or something of that nature. Sand a little rocky, not great for walking and beach is small.
