Enjoyed a long weekend in northern Michigan and had the chance to visit Two Lads Winery. Enjoyed a variety of samples while taking in the awesome scenery surrounding the winery. Came away with four bottles of wine and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Probably one of our top two favorite wineries in Michigan. Each year we normally buy a case and savor the wonderful wine! The tasting room is absolutely amazing, you pull up to it on the top of a hill, overlooking all the different vineyards and a view of the bay. The inside (which can get super busy) is modern, clean... More

The 2012 Cabernet Franc is one of the best wines I have ever had. Great views and nice employees. Excellent experience!

This winery is a bit farther north than we had gone on previous trips to TC but it turned out to be worth the drive. The tasting room has a modern vibe with a very pretty location right on the water. Friendly staff, no charge for wine-tastings although there's a tip jar on the counter. It seemed that about a... More

The Tastings were $5 per person with no real discount taken unless 2 bottles are purchase then one tasting fee is waived. What we liked - Beautiful setting - expansive views - modern metal decor. We liked the Sparking Pinot Grigio and Pinot Grigio was also good. Staff were friendly enough. Visiting midweek meant no crowds. What we didn't like... More

Their wines are very good, some are somewhat bland but over all better than most of the bigger wineries in the region. They have an interesting system where you can buy a glass to drink while you wait for a spot at the tasting table. Busy place but somewhat off the beaten path since they're so far north. Definitely one... More

This winery was different than the others in the Peninsula we visited in that it had a modern and trendy environment, which we loved. It was bright-lighted rather than dim, which was nice as we had a great view of the Lake while enjoying our tastings. $3 for 5 tastings was comparable to the other wineries. We loved the Riesling... Modern design and only place on Old Mission that really embraces its view in their tasting room. Can get crowded quickly so try avoid peak times. Wine is good, their Sparkling Pinot Grigio is probably our favorite sparkling in Michigan.

The architecture is enough to want to see this winery. Breathtaking views of the bay. I believe you have to appreciate the wine per region. Not comparing it to other regions. The amazing thing for me is that the wine is made at the 45th parallel and turns out quite impressively, considering the challenges that weather brings Michigan. Their sparkling... More

When I first moved to Traverse City, I would always bring out of town guests here when they were visiting and we were tasting some wine on the Old Mission Peninsula, but I have moved it off of the list now. If you want a great view, this is the place. Their tasting room is modern and beautiful and has... More
