We had a reservation for our party of 12. They put us at a large table and we had it all to ourselves. The view was beautiful and the employees were very knowledgeable. The wine was not my favorite but but the experience was wonderful!

The wine samples were ok, but the view is worth the trip. The building is very nice also, but quite small.

On the drive up the peninsula some one recommended stopping at 2 Lads winery. Really cool building. Modern, clean. Nice people. Have been to tastings in CA and in MI they tend to pour the bare minimum. I assume it's a state law, but that amount is ridiculous, really. It's barely one mouthful. Not 2 Lads fault. One wine here... More

A few years ago on my first visit, they were the only ones who masterfully made excellent wine during a bad climate year. My favorite winery in Michigan.

My sister and I showed up just before the close of the tastings and we were greeted by a sweet employee that welcomed us right on in! We enjoyed the drive up Mission Point , the scenery and the wine samples were super yum! I love drier wines and bought a few bottles of their Sauvignon Blanc ...delish! I did... More

Michigan is still a "B list" wine producing state, to be sure, but the progress made in the quality of the wines -- and the sheer number of wineries -- is astonishing. Most are clustered around Traverse City on the Leelenau Peninsula, but nearby Old Mission Peninsula is home to another cluster of winemakers in a more compact area perfect... More

This winery i was so excited to come to! I have read great reviews and the property looks awesome! Driving up it is refreshing- to see something very modern and different! 5 Dollars for the tasting- little more then the other wineries but no big deal, but the girl that helped with the wine completely ruined our experience. She didn't... More

We went right after they opened on a Saturday and were unpleasantly surprised to have to wait awhile because of two large wedding parties. I wish they had more than one bar area for tastings, especially to accommodate large groups. As just two of us I didn't expect to have to wait over 10 minutes just to try their wine.... More

boilermish, I'm sorry that we had 2 large groups arrive first thing on Saturday, but large groups do often visit wineries. They also mostly visit on Saturdays, so if you'd like to avoid them as much as possible, try visiting another day of the week. Or give us a call in advance. We can't guarantee we won't have groups arrive... More

I was really impressed with 2 Lads. The building is stunning as are the expansive views. It was busy when we were there, but the service was stil excellent. The staff was very knowledgable, generous and pleasant and that made for a truly memorable experience. The wine was terrific and we found something that everyone in our group really loved.... More
