We went right after they opened on a Saturday and were unpleasantly surprised to have to wait awhile because of two large wedding parties. I wish they had more than one bar area for tastings, especially to accommodate large groups. As just two of us I didn't expect to have to wait over 10 minutes just to try their wine.... More

boilermish, I'm sorry that we had 2 large groups arrive first thing on Saturday, but large groups do often visit wineries. They also mostly visit on Saturdays, so if you'd like to avoid them as much as possible, try visiting another day of the week. Or give us a call in advance. We can't guarantee we won't have groups arrive... More

I was really impressed with 2 Lads. The building is stunning as are the expansive views. It was busy when we were there, but the service was stil excellent. The staff was very knowledgable, generous and pleasant and that made for a truly memorable experience. The wine was terrific and we found something that everyone in our group really loved.... More

We only had a few minutes but it was well spent. We drove north out of TC to the 2 Lads Winery. There are at least 8 wineries on the Old Mission Peninsula. 2 Lads was more modern than we expected but well done. $5 for tasting and that was taken off your wine if you bought some. We did!

Busy with a beautiful view. They have a very nice sparking white and this coming from a dry red drinker.

We did a spur of the moment wine tasting here while exploring the peninsula. The staff was funny and easy going and the wine was good. The tasting room is beautiful and modern and offers a wonderful view of the fields and lake beyond. Great way to spend an hour of your day!

What a pleasant surprise! Red wine (Cab Franc and Pinot Noir) from a cold climate that was excellent. I would blind taste the Pinot Noir against any from Napa or Oregon and it would be very difficult to pick them apart. Good price point, better price and better wine than others we tasted in the area. If you visit, try... More

Visited with a group of 10 for the Divas Uncorked Tour. We enjoyed great wine and service. The bar is large and there is also a large table behind it for many to fit around. Don't worry if you have a big group. Loved this place. Beautiful view, too.

What a neat place this is! Put it on the top of your list of wineries for tastings! Very chic place and beautiful views. The guys working are informative, helpful and entertaining. They really know the history of the land. They grow over six varieties of grapes on 23 acres of the 60 acre estate You also have options on... More

The ride up to the winery through the peninsula was stunning. Great views of the water. Had a great experience tasting the variety of wines produced at that winery. We then drove up to the end of the peninsula and visited the Old Mission Lighthouse. A well kept public access to the water where we were able to wade in... More

Our new favorite TC winery! Have been to probably 20+ and this is our new favorite as we love Riesling wines. The sangria was also great.
