Chateau Chantal is a unique development that combines a winery, vineyards, bed and breakfast, residence, six private home sites, and winding roads, all of which combine to create an experience in Northern Hospitality. The 65 acre site sits high atop a ridge 12 miles north of Traverse City, Michigan on the beautiful and historic Old Mission Peninsula. Wonderful wine and wonderful view

Just heard from several locals on what a great winery this was and wow! The wines were wonderful and the customer service and staff were outstanding and kind.

Beautiful site but we never felt welcomed, and after overhearing the staff talking to other people who don't know much about wine, we decided not to do a tasting.

Hello Lisa, I'm very sorry for the experience you had with us, this is not the type of behavior that is taught at our winery. I will be sharing this this the staff. It looks like you visited on Sunday Jan 3rd? If that's not correct, I'd appreciate knowing what day you were here. If you were able to see... More

This was a spur of the moment stop and glad we did. Sitting on the patio sipping on wine and admiring the view was very relaxing.

I highly recommend a B & B stay at Chateau Chantal winery! We had a large group of family, 5 rooms. The beautiful sitting area with wood burning fireplace was the perfect common area for us to gather, relax and catch up. The breakfast is full and fabulous! We were able to enjoy the beauty of C.C. unhindered by staff,... More

Awesome views. You can't beat sitting on the patio on a nice day. Large selections of wines and sparkling wines. The Fall Riesling is so good!!! The wine tasting and the food and wine offerings are great. We have been here many times to relax and unwind.

The highlight of Chateau Chantal is the property itself. The views are beautiful, especially in the fall with all the trees changing color. I was not necessarily impressed with the wine. It is a nice stop.

We went to the wine pairings dinner and it was wonderful. Ruben, the chef, created an amazing menu. Each course was paired with an appropriate wine. There were seven courses, including short ribs, crab cakes, beet salad, walleye, and more: each serving small and exquisitely prepared and presented, with a corresponding Chateau Chantal wine. The last course was a slice... More

I came here with my boyfriend for our weekend getaway and chose this winery to go to. I wish I hadn't chosen this place though because we had a bd experience there. First the parking was atrocious. We had to loop around three times before we found a spot. Then after waiting in line for a while, we were directed... More

We (4 adults, one 4.5 y/o) arrived in TC around 14:00 and knew that we wanted to drive up OM Peninsula to view the lighthouse. While en route to that, I recalled from a trip several years ago that the view from CC out to the bay was magnificent...so we decided to stop. I would not recommend taking several children... More
