We found Gallagher's Farm Market & Bakery on M72 West driving from Traverse City to the Sleeping Bear Dunes & made a note to stop in on our way back to town at the end of our day. We loved getting fresh cherries and sampling their wonderful ice cream. They had nice bakery items, souvenirs (food gifts & sweatshirts) and... More

Really wanted to visit after reading reviews. The cherry jam and cherry berry jam are really, really good. Doughnuts were ok. Jams, etc. were a little pricey. Was disappointed they did not have any fresh cherries, but I guess they were out of season. The other produce looked good but we were on our way out of town.

Visiting family in Bay City, Michigan and today they took me on a day trip to this area and after doing research I asked to make Gallaghers one of our stops based on the reviews here as I wanted to get the local TC cherries to take back to Florida. It was a perfect place for me to buy my... More

Coming from a big city, we were looking for a local Farmer's Market but missed the days they were held. Saw this place on the way back from Sleeping Bear dunes on Route 72 instead and it was even better than a typical farmer's market. They offered all sorts of fresh produce, homemade artisan foods with fresh ingredients, and an... More

We were on our way to Traverse City and looking for a cherry stand. We saw this place and stopped, and we are very glad we did! This adorable place has delicious cherries for sale as well as other fruits and vegetables. Inside, they have various gift items and additional farm market items. We bought a little glass jug of... Stopped on impulse, and was glad we did. Delicious fresh strawberries and homemade cake donuts. Lots of samples that you could try before you buy. They have a small farm with piglets, chickens, etc, and other photo ops like wooden cutouts that you put your face through. We enjoyed the stop very much. The cherry berry jam is delicious.

Nice baked goods. The sweet cherry pie was delicious! Lots of local products available for purchase; jams, wines, honey, fruits, vegetables and more.... Nice stop for families with children. Farm animals up close.

Stopped in to pick up a box of dried cherries and cherry concentrate juice, and had to get a few the pumpkin doughnuts: Great as always. Was a little too cold to walk around the farm today (the day before they closed for the season!). See you again next spring!
