This is a great ballpark; you are close to the action and everyone seems to have a great time! The Beach Bums mascots are very entertaining and quite funny! Great value and something to add to your visit to Traverse City.

Traverse City is so lucky to have this family fun attraction! An evening at the ballpark without having to pay $100 a ticket. I think tickets are around $10 for general admission, not much more tan a movie ticket for adults. In between innings they have mascots do games with the kids. Typical ballpark fare for food and beverages are... More

We visited Wuerfel Park to see the Traverse City Beach Bums play a minor league baseball game while vacationing in Traverse City. The ballpark is relatively new (opened in 2006) and seats about 3,500 people. If you enjoy a night at the ballpark, this is a very nice venue to watch a ballgame!

We went to the ball park to watch a game over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. This is a great facility! The game was enjoyable and it is a great value for the money. Concessions were inexpensive compared to other ballparks I've attended. The facility is well taken care of, clean and has a unique... More

Expensive. Parking fee is high considering how much parking they have. The food was very expensive and honestly was worse the. The roller dogs at 7-11. I was embarrassed for them of what they were serving. The team was so-so and in between innings was a mature hour. Is this professional baseball or little league? Even the first aid people... More

The Beach Bums are a great family activity in a beautiful facility. Check their website for promotions and specials. Everyone from vendors to the game announcer made this an enjoyable activity.

A great place to go to catch a little baseball and some ball park treats! Good prices, and not a bad seat in the place!

We watched a TC beachbums game here last year. The park was great for watching a game - no real lineups, decent food, fun atmosphere, cold beer, cheap ticket prices. A great place to spend the afternoon with the family or friends!

Wonderful family entertainment. Enjoyable. Like the snack/hot dog/sausage/taco type food for kids. Nice day out, nice facility.

Since the first year, I would say that Wuerfel has gone down hill from a baseball and Traverse City experience perspective. They have taken out the natural grass which is so great to watch a game on. They have taken away Moomer's ice cream and Grand Traverse Pie company and others (TC icons) and replaced it with standard ball park... More
