What a gem this little hometown ballpark is! Home to the independent Traverse City Beach Bums baseball team of the Frontier League. It's a great venue and every seat is a great one. Very reasonably priced and if you're lucky you can purchase a table for four and sit in very comfortable tall beach chairs. Kids will love the mascot... More

We have been to several games here and most recently saw Bill Engvall perform which was a fun evening. It's a great idea to do comedy on summer evenings here. Our family has enjoyed the games as well.

Just a fantastic ball park with a tremendous staff. My first time at Wuerful stadium and I was blown away by the attention to detail and the overall feel of the ball park. I work in the baseball world and see 150 games a year and this place is a gem; best independent league stadium i have see. fans are... More

If you are a baseball fan, you may enjoy taking a game watching the Traverse City Beach Bums. It is a nice small ballpark with good amenities.

This is a great ballpark; you are close to the action and everyone seems to have a great time! The Beach Bums mascots are very entertaining and quite funny! Great value and something to add to your visit to Traverse City.

Traverse City is so lucky to have this family fun attraction! An evening at the ballpark without having to pay $100 a ticket. I think tickets are around $10 for general admission, not much more tan a movie ticket for adults. In between innings they have mascots do games with the kids. Typical ballpark fare for food and beverages are... More

We visited Wuerfel Park to see the Traverse City Beach Bums play a minor league baseball game while vacationing in Traverse City. The ballpark is relatively new (opened in 2006) and seats about 3,500 people. If you enjoy a night at the ballpark, this is a very nice venue to watch a ballgame!

We went to the ball park to watch a game over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. This is a great facility! The game was enjoyable and it is a great value for the money. Concessions were inexpensive compared to other ballparks I've attended. The facility is well taken care of, clean and has a unique... More

Expensive. Parking fee is high considering how much parking they have. The food was very expensive and honestly was worse the. The roller dogs at 7-11. I was embarrassed for them of what they were serving. The team was so-so and in between innings was a mature hour. Is this professional baseball or little league? Even the first aid people... More
