We selected Jake and Miss Alexandra for our sailing experience - and were not disappointed. We chose a two day, one night, scuba diving, and (crew) learning trip. The weather was beautiful and winds were reasonable, so we were able to get some time under sail. We did a dive at Powers Island. We spent the night at the Elk... More

Great time relaxing, the two hours went by too quickly . We are always looking for something new to do on our girls getaway and this was perfect! Captain Jake was very knowledgable and seems to enjoy what he does. We will be back next year!

I needed a special treat to celebrate my husband's birthday. He has been sailing since 1968, but no longer has his boat. I found Two Brothers Sailing on the internet. What a find! Captain Jake was extremely knowledgeable. He did all the work but allowed us to be behind the wheel. Great winds, a very capable captain. What was the... More

Captain Jake was very laid back...just what we needed after being at a horse show all day. We brought our own picnic and beverages and our golden retriever. Would highly recommend it as a private excursion versus a bigger sail boat with strangers...

I found Two Brothers Sailing when I was browsing Trip Advisor for things to do while on my honeymoon. This was the last thing we did on our trip. We had a great evening for sailing! Within a few minutes, my husband got promoted to first mate and helping with the sails and I was driving the boat! My husband... More

If you enjoy the water, wind in your hair, sun on your face, you MUST take a trip with Captain Jake on his sail boat. The Grand Traverse Bay is gorgeous, all day, and evening is pure magic. The sunsets will take your breath away! The sail boat is nicely appointed and comfortable. We'll definitely make this a yearly thing... More

To celebrate my friend's upcoming marriage, four of us ladies booked a 2 hour sail with Captain Jake. He was extremely accommodating as we were running 30 minutes behind getting into town. Once on board we were shown the boat's safety features and welcomed to explore. Overall it was a very relaxing experience and a very good value. Jake -... More

Thank you for sailing with us. I had a great time with all of you. I hope we where not to demanding of Ignacio. Remember what happens on the boat, stays on the boat. ;-) Captain Jake More

This was the highlight of our vacation. My daughter and I went on the 2 hour sunset sail and it was wonderful. Captain Jake tailored the sailing to our comfort level, which was fairly fast, the equivalent of about 20 mph. We went out to where the Traverse Bay was 312 feet deep - this was serious sailing! Captain Jake... More

We booked online as a last minute trip around August 21, 2012. Captain Jake called back and let us know the boat was available the next day and we took it based on the tripadvisor reviews. It was a wonderful time both exciting and relaxing. The Captain provided interesting conversation and explanations of sailing and sites around the bay during... More

We recently traveled to Traverse City with another couple for a weekend away. We made reservations with Captain Jake a month in advance and even have emails confirming the reservation and with instructions from him on where to meet. The day of our much-anticipated sailing trip, we were left on the dock with no Captain. When we called, he said... More

Her reservation unfortunately was deleted from the system. As you can see from the rest of the reviews this has never happened and have never had anything but a great experience as advertised. I did call her right away and apologized, and offered a free cruise to make up for this unfortunate situation. I never heard back from her. Sorry... More
