Stopped in for some cider after having it at a local eatery. Didn't realize they had wine too! It looks like a bar, you can purchase by the glass if you'd like. Tried their three ciders and three of the wines. Would recommend all the ciders, Spire wine. Don't come hungry though, they only hav small plates here.

We go to Left Foot Charley (LFC) often. It's a wonderful place to sample some wine...or better yet, get a glass of a Cinnamon Girl hard cider! We've also gone there when they have live music. Great crowd, great atmosphere, great employees!

We aren't big wine drinkers, but had a blast here. Our bartender (Sara?) was adorable and so knowledgeable. Mel came over as well, and was engaging and took our experience to the nth level. The cider is a great option for beer drinkers, loved the suggestion to mix the two! Great outdoor space, friendly wonderful staff, fun tasting experience.

We always make our way to Left Foot Charley Winery in The Commons in Traverse City. The staff is always ready to offer tasting, and we especially like their white wines. We tasted, and then purchased a bottle to share with our friends, and sat outside listening to the music in the nearby farmer's market.

We had a wonderful late afternoon tasting with some nice appetizers. It was open mic night which just invites you to stay and taste some more wine. There is a sandbox out front for the kids. The white wines were fabulous.

We are normally Cab drinkers and generally don't like sweet wines. They had the best variety of several of the wineries we tried. They have a small selection of appetizers to snack. They have indoor and outdoor setting with a large sandbox for kids

We came here on a Thursday night, did a tasting and enjoyed a few wines. Were talking to the man behind the bar about food options, they only had a Lebanese sandwich available that evening but he suggested we go to Spanglish next door and bring something back to have with wine on the patio. So we did. We were... More

A group of my girlfriends and I have been visiting LFC in September for many years. We've seen it change during that time. Nights with music, couches, etc. One thing remains. Excellent selection of wines and little plates of food to go with. My husband and I were visiting last week end with another couple who were "seasoned" TC visitors.... More

After visiting LFC a year ago and having a nice time we decided to make this part of our trip to Traverse City. Never again! They have added a sandbox outside on the patio for children. Having two children of our own, when we visit a winery we expect for it to be an adult atmosphere, not surrounded by little... More

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about our business. Wineries are generational businesses and we are a young family. We put the sandbox in about 6 years ago and LFC has become a great space for wine lovers, cider drinkers, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and their kids. The sandbox represents exactly what our businesses is about - multi generations. The vineyards... More

We stopped in here after dinner "across the way" at Trattoria Stella on a recent Friday evening. We were expecting to go to a winery "tasting room" to sample some wine....what we were not expecting was what we found...a very lively crowd, with a fantastic two-person string band! Folks were enjoying the company not only inside, but on the patio... More
