We are normally Cab drinkers and generally don't like sweet wines. They had the best variety of several of the wineries we tried. They have a small selection of appetizers to snack. They have indoor and outdoor setting with a large sandbox for kids

We came here on a Thursday night, did a tasting and enjoyed a few wines. Were talking to the man behind the bar about food options, they only had a Lebanese sandwich available that evening but he suggested we go to Spanglish next door and bring something back to have with wine on the patio. So we did. We were... More

A group of my girlfriends and I have been visiting LFC in September for many years. We've seen it change during that time. Nights with music, couches, etc. One thing remains. Excellent selection of wines and little plates of food to go with. My husband and I were visiting last week end with another couple who were "seasoned" TC visitors.... More

After visiting LFC a year ago and having a nice time we decided to make this part of our trip to Traverse City. Never again! They have added a sandbox outside on the patio for children. Having two children of our own, when we visit a winery we expect for it to be an adult atmosphere, not surrounded by little... More

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about our business. Wineries are generational businesses and we are a young family. We put the sandbox in about 6 years ago and LFC has become a great space for wine lovers, cider drinkers, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and their kids. The sandbox represents exactly what our businesses is about - multi generations. The vineyards... More

We stopped in here after dinner "across the way" at Trattoria Stella on a recent Friday evening. We were expecting to go to a winery "tasting room" to sample some wine....what we were not expecting was what we found...a very lively crowd, with a fantastic two-person string band! Folks were enjoying the company not only inside, but on the patio... More

Have been here a number of times and haven't been disappointed. The wine is excellent, the cider in the Fall is amazing (I like to get a growler to take home), and the food is really pretty good for a winery (the pretzel with various mustards is tasty!). Would definitely recommend it and we'll be back for sure!

I have been here twice and both times I really enjoyed it. The first time they had these yummy little scooby snacks you could have between wines, the second time they didn't have them... but it looks like they started offering small plates. Either way, staff was very nice both times, I enjoyed coming in the winter in the daytime... More

we stopped in here on a whim after going through some shops nearby. it was only 5$ for a fun tasting experience with a couple of extra tastes. The girl who served us was informed and interesting even though they were quite busy. I thought she was good at her job and then even more so when another random staff... More

The dry Riesling was the best of the wine we tasted. The hard cider was also excellent. Nice outdoor seating.

Left Foot Charley is a good spot. If you get there within a half hour of closing they do NOT do tastings unless the manager is there. We walked in 20 minutes before closing and were told we could not do a tasting. Ten minutes later another couple came in and the bartender said they couldn't do a tasting as... More
