The winery doesn't have the views of the Old Mission area but very good selection, service, and appetizers. We had the 6 samples for $5. In addition to wine, some nice choices of hard cider. For appetizers, the Whitefish patte was great.

This is a must every trip up north. Very knowledgeable staff. There cider is better then anything you can buy at a carryout/grocery store. Fill up 3 growlers every trip.

My wife and i stopped in to do a taste test and loved it. We really like the cinnamon girl cider and got one of the large bottles and a bunch of the little bottles. The other ciders and wines were good too.

The wine was average at best except for the Cinnamon Girl Cider, which was pretty tasty. We're from California and have done a fair share of wine tasting so maybe I'm a bit biased. We came to Traverse City with our small kids and were happy to find a winery that also included a sandbox to entertain the little ones.... More

This is a must stop when in the Traverse City area! The staff is fun and informative. There was live music on the patio. My favs are Riesling Prose, Missing Spire Riesling, Stumble, and Cinnamon Girl Hard Cider. Tastings are $5 for 6 samples.

Set on the grounds of a renovated state run asylum, Left Foot Charley offers tastings of their wines and hard ciders. I especially liked the Cinnamon Girl Cider which tastes like apple pie! Worth a visit!

We had the wine/cider and cheese tasting. Very large portions of wine and small portions of cheese. Both were excellent. Not rushed. Great atmosphere.

Have to say this is my favorite winery in Traverse City. My wife and I visit every year and this is our first stop. Cinnamon cider is excellent and I also am a big fan of the Stumble! Only thing I would like to see is their wine in some local stores down south!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, we are so glad you had a great time! Where would you like to see our wine downstate? Maybe I can guide you to a few different stores. Cheers! More

The location of this winery is interesting and not what is typical of the wineries in Traverse City. Unfortunately I don't think I can be fair with this overall review because my husband and I went into this tasting with full stomachs which hampered our desire to drink wine. We tried a lot of different wines, but our favorites were... More

A friend had recommended we stop in to Left Foot Charley's while visiting the Commons. They offer several hard ciders, many whites and a couple of red wines. Our server Sara was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. You could get 6 tastes of any wines or ciders on the menu for $5 or split a tasting and each person could have... More
