A picturesque town with good places to eat, great bike trail nearby and good waterside walks. Wineries are nearby to visit and enjoy a variety of local wines.

This is such a beautiful place. Wineries were wonderful. Four in our family had never been before. Stay away from the North Country Grill for your meals.

Sutton's Bay is an attractive little town with literally something for everyone. Lots of great shops and quite a few restaurants. You can also wander down by the lake and enjoy watching the boats. If it's a rainy day, catch a movie at the theater downtown. It's easy to park and walk everywhere. I especially like the store "At Home"... More

Quaint shops, great restaurants (my favorite is 45th Parallel Cafe), historic restored movie theater, and then there is the beach, marina, and views! Picturesque.

Plenty of good shops, restaurants and even a Murdick's fudge store. Well worth the stop on M-22.Be sure to visit the various art galleries, too.

On the leelenau penninsula....an obvious stop for both bikers, hikers and drivers heading north to the lighthouse. Pleasureable shopping experience and a good way to relax with numerous benches lining the street. Dog friendly area and restaurants.

Sailed into Suttons Bay and spent a evening at the public marina there. Nice blow howl as we turned into and headed down the bay. Wonderful little town within easy walking distance had everything we required.

My wife and I have a few years before retirement but we have decided that we will retire to the Leelanau Peninsula area, and more specifically, Suttons Bay. The town is small, quaint, and friendly. Plenty of touristy stuff but still a nice place to get a great meal like at Village Inn or Boone's Prime Time. A short walk... More

Cute houses and great shops. My daughter and I spent a couple of hours browsing the shops. All the shop employees were so friendly and nice. Would recommend to anyone in the Traverse City area.
