I came for a friends wedding, so had only a brief encounter with the retail side of the business. The setting was stunning, with sleek restoration of an old featherbone factory. It has an open layout but didn't feel cavernous. The retail area was downstairs, while the wedding activities were upstairs, which kept activities from competing. Form the looks of... More

My husband and I and another couple visited the distillery over the labor day holiday weekend, stopping in for cocktails and appetizers. We plan to return once the full service restaurant is open. In the meantime, the food and drink at the bar is good and imaginative.

A great find in a small town. Well-crafted spirits served neat or in a number of traditional and unique cocktails. The flights were inexpensive -- $12 for all three with 15 samples-- and were a great way to pick out a favorite.

Had a great time on the tour and learned a lot. Lots of delicious flavors to try and the bartender gave us great suggestions for drinks.

Although I have bought Journeyman spirits at my local liquor store, I had not visited the distillery. Housed in an old warehouse, this spot is unique, suits the business quite well and is well worth the visit to not only try their made-on-premise spirits, but to take the tour if you are tired of the wine-and-beer scene. As I enjoyed... More

We were going wine tasting when we saw the sign for the distillery so decided to stop in. It looked like an old factory but the interior was rustic with lots of old pictures on the wall. We tried the whiskey flights and liked the Buggy Whip Wheat, and the Feather Bone Bourbon the best. They had a Vodka made... More

My husband, son and I stopped in on our way home from New Buffalo. What an interesting space they have - worth a look for the decor alone. They have fantastic mixologists who have made up some interesting cocktails using their own distilled spirits. We especially liked the "Refreshing" selection of cocktails. My husband and son took a tour of... More

My friends and I stopped at this distillery based on a recommendation from Joe at a nearby antique mall. We tried two different flights along with ordering two cocktails. While we didn't enjoy the drinks as much as the food, the hostess came around and talked to us for a while providing a wealth of information about the town and... More
