Owner description: A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area. Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting. The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows? The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone. Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant. In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.

We have been going the farm for over the past 3 years and have annual pass's which are good value for money when you use it regularly. It was the best scream fest this year. The kids loved it because there were more activities in the day for them and the scare barn was more adapted for their age group.... More

Love this place! So much to do indoors and outdoors! Go karts, bouncy castle, sand pit, crazy golf, football shoot out, tractor ride, reindeers, animals, petting place, massive indoor play area with big near vertical slides!! Amazing! Not forgetting the big maize maze in the maize field!! Indoor cafe, outdoor seating area. This place has it all and I would... More

This was the second time we visited the farm this year and it was fantastic both times, unfortunately this time it's was hammering down with rain in the afternoon so could use the outside area( not their fault lol) we used it on our first visit and it was great. Before the rain it was great animals were outside which... More

Have been to a few parties with our daughter here so decided to go with the family and have the day out. It's a good place and does have a variety of things to do even in the later months like November and the kids did really enjoy it... but, and its a big but, adults have to pay full... More

Hi, Thank you for putting a review of the farm on TripAdvisor, we do appreciate it. We're glad your children really enjoy coming to us - that's always good to know! I'm a bit puzzled that you felt there was a lot of things you had to pay extra for though, as there is only the Adventure Golf and electric... More

adventure farm with a large variety of things to do for children of ages 4 to 15 indoors and outdoors, costly for a large family but you can spend several hours there, plus a good restaurant that serves good hot and cold dishes, can be very busy on a warm day in school holiday times, the owners are adding different... "Greenman", Thank you for your lovely review for the farm. The maize maze in summer is certainly worth visiting for - it's pretty large and lots of effort goes into choosing a different theme every year and making it plenty of fun to do for both adults and children alike. It's almost like a whole additional attraction on site included... More

This is a super place but has become too over-commercialised. The food is average but overpriced. You can take your own, but try telling 5 year olds they can't have bought food. Won't be going again when we can go to the NF Forestry Centre.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to post a review for the farm on TripAdvisor. We are pleased you think the farm is super, but obviously concerned that you feel the food is expensive. Having just done some benchmarking against other (reasonably priced) local attractions, we seem to be pretty much on those, so I am wondering it is... More

As an attraction that runs for around 2 weeks, you'd assume Halloween of all nights they would be on their 'A game' unfortunately this is not the case. I would like to say as an actor who previously worked (i use the term 'work' loosely) in the attraction i was excited to visit, but this excitement turned into bitter disappointment.... More

Jonathan, Thank you for your review. Are you sure you were at Screamfest, Burton upon Trent? I don't think we had any rain that night? As someone who states they have helped at Screamfest previously, you know yourself how much tireless effort goes into putting on this event. It is certainly assembled in a short period, as with 90% of... More

As a group of 4 20-30's we thoroughly enjoyed the screamfest event! Wasn't sure whether it would actually be scary but can now safely say there were a lot of screams from us! The actors and staff were great and it definitely seemed well organised!
