We went to the tasting room at BSF because we had a free tasting as guests of the inn. Their wines were probably some of our least favorite, but I am not considering that in my rating, since wine preference is so personal and what I dislike doesn't mean anything to someone else. But the experience itself wasn't great. It... More

Disappointing overall with a few delights. Setting was lovely: patio with sunshade umbrellas and the fire and pot staged for a show. Choice of a sweet Riesling or a craft orange dreamsicle rum cocktail included in the $20pp price. Both were far too sweet as premeal cocktails for us. We missed the "show" as the cook set up the boil... More

Black Star Winery was a beautiful place to visit. The wine tasting was fun with a very knowledgeable person serving us. AND you got to keep your wine glass, is a cute little glass. This place had "lots" of award winning wines & was hard to deceide which ones to sample (& buy). They also featured some other unique food... More

Black Star Farms has very good wine. We've had it before and will buy more in the future. The experience at the tasting room was a bit formulaic. What I mean is that the experience felt scripted. I know that all the vineyards have their own sales pitch, but this one felt matter-of-fact. We liked the wine, and the sales... More

Love this winery. First, the scenery is lovely. This is a beautiful place. Secondly, the people who work here are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thirdly, and most importantly, the wine is fantastic! There is something for everyone. No matter if your taste runs from red to white, dry to sweet, you will find the perfect wine for you. This is... Wine country at its finest. Accommodations were great and the hospitality was the best. The Food and Wine were exceptional. Make sure you attend the reception in the afternoon.

The wife and I stopped here as we visited several wineries in the area. We were greeted nicely, given some mulled wine. The place was packed! Waited about 10 mins for a spot at the bar. Tasted the whites and a couple desert wines. All was good, we ended up buying a couple bottles. This is by far the largest... More

We went with friends for the Friday night fishboil which was good, but lots of bones in the fish! They served dinner with a glass of their Riesling. It's so good that we got extra bottles for dinner, in fact the next day we went back and two of our friends each bought a case! It is a beautiful setting.

Nice selection of wines to choose from, great staff and appetizers to pair with the wines. Looking forward to returning.
