Visited late afternoon on a sunny September day. There were warnings posted about poison ivy, but this didn't deter us from swimming in the sea - it was unbelievably warm. The lighthouse forms a great backdrop to the beach. It is well maintained, and the beach is clean. Recommended.

The sunset and the forever red beach is amazing. This is worth the drive. The climb was not bad a the small museum was worth it. One of our favorites of PEI. Will be back.

It's quite something to see the red sand beaches on PEI, and you get right next to them at the lighthouse. We didn't stay there, or go in to the building, but there was plenty of parking, without the annoying signs that say they are for hotel guests only. We stayed a brief period, got a few pictures, and played... More

The lighthouse is gorgeous. The climb up to the top of the lighthouse and the mini museum inside of it are very informative. The beach us stunning - red sand as far as the eye can see. The sunset here is amazing. This is probably one of the most beautiful lighthouses on the island.

Rooms were very clean, showers were wonderful. Lots of hot water. Beds were wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was pleantiful. Only complaint would be the really spotty wi-fi. The only place in the building I could get a signal was halfway down the upper hall. :(

All I can say is the stay was AMAZING!!! Great place, a hidden gem. A must stay. We walked into our rooms and were blown away by the cool air conditioning, the cleanliness and well put together rooms. The view of the ocean, the beach front. What more can you ask for. The breakfast was very very good. Thank you... More

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and modern. There are only 13 guest rooms in the whole place and two are in the actual light house. The inn is run by a non profit organization, but you would think by the level of service and the friendly staff, that they were competing against 40 other... More

Loved being able to climb up to the top of the West Point Lighhouse! Lots to read along the way and the view is wonderful. Well worth the cost. Had we known there was an inn here, we would have booked a night or two to stay. It looked wonderful! The beach there is great, the views are amazing and... More

It was worth going to the southwestern most point of PEI. Nice beach. In Cedar Dunes Provincial Park which has camping, hiking, etc. The lighthouse is large. They said I could climb to the top inside, but not go out onto to walkway. It is not interesting unless you can get outside the closed glass, so I didn't do it.... More

Not much to see here. It's located on a lovely sandy beach, however I was expecting some shops and restaurants. This lighthouse is a hotel. It was a long drive to get here, a little disappointing.
