Great park, excellent viewing area to watch ships lock through, nice place to sit and relax or take a walk. Friendly and knowledgeable staff in The Visitors Center. Went here several times during our week in The Soo, never disappoints.

Lot's of people travel here I have heard. It is an interesting place to be sure and the movement of the Lake Superior flow through the locks and other channels at the Soo is pretty cool. The ships coming through are huge. I guess I will just live with it being fairly interesting but doesn't really float my boat. I... More

Loved the opportunity to walk the locks & the hydro power plant. Very organized and well attended. Can see why attendees have done this year after year, can't wait to get back next year.

Engineers Day is incredible and worth the trip no matter where you're from. However, I always find something new and interesting to see no matter when I visit. I love to watch the freighters go thru the locks.

I have been coming here since my grandma brought me here as a child. It is just one of those places you have to keep coming back to. Not only to see the Soo Locks, but to take a stroll through the beautiful adjacent park, to step into the visitor center "that just keeps growing every time I come back".... More

Visiting the Soo Locks was very interesting. The boat is very comfortable both inside and upper deck in the open air. There are restrooms and a snack bar. Very enjoyable & educational.

Be sure to check times in the visitor center and enjoy watching the ships and their crews in the locks The shipwreck museum on the park grounds is a must visit, too

A very interesting two hour tour of the international lock system at Sault Ste Marie. Tour boat personel were very knowledgeable about the system and very accommodating. The tour boat was clean and well kept up. Very iinformative tour. Definite recommend that all readers should take part in.

We were able to see two ships come in. It was a fascinating process to watch and the visitor center was very educational with helpful staff. The only suggestion is that when you are on the observation deck you can't hear the announcements so be sure to go close to the building to hear it. Well worth the stop if... More

interesting displays showing the building and history of the locks, but the best is watching a freighter raise or lower being close enough to talk to the crew.
