Ian, our unlicensed and irresponsible blind driver (just kidding) was great! Cracked jokes but was very informative, explaining the history of area and the formation of the dunes. Exciting ride, lots if fun. Watch out for rattlers and tree snakes when in woods. Can't wait to take grandkids. Recommend.

We sat in the back seat if the dune buggy. I was afraid it was going to be too much because I get car sick. I had no issues. We hit one bumb and I think my butt was a foot off the seat. I had to hang on so I didn't wind up on top of my neighbors. We... More

This 18 passenger dune buggy ride took us for a fast moving, but not hair raising ride through the privately owned dunes area. We made several stops where our driver discussed the forming and preservation efforts of the dunes. A bucket list adventure.

Our jeep ( which seats @20) had folks of all ages. No one came back without a smile on their face. Our driver Ralph was the best. A retired chemistry teacher, he was not shy about hitting the accelerator but would also make short stops along the way and provide a brief description/history of the dunes. He's quite the comedian... More

You will laugh, you will scream, you are having pure FUN. Scott was our driver, he is crazy funny but teaches you the very interesting history of the area and the dunes. Every age group will enjoy, GO, you will remember this long after your trip is over.

We had a wonderful time. The driver/guide was funny, interesting and gave us a lot of information on the history/ecology of the region. For $18 per adult it's a great value.

Ian the guide knew his stuff, wasnt rushed and great fun. I understand it was a quiet time, but he took his time to let us take pics and had a great sense of humour, one for kids and adults, also great value

It's fun for the whole family. You will get some great history of the dunes area, and see some really pretty areas. it's a great combination to do before or after the Star of Saugatuck.

Taking a ride on the dunes schooner is an adventure worth taking. It is suitable for all ages, and all will enjoy it. The views are spectacular, and the guidance tell interesting stories about the near and distant history of the place. Sometimes it's a little cheesy, but if you're in the area I recommend it.

We go on these dune rides every year and still enjoy them. The history of the area is interesting and the dune buggies go surprisingly fast. I would recommend the dune ride and make sure to bring your camera. The drivers will take a picture of your group at the top of the dunes.
