The Star of Saugatuck cruise was both fun and beautiful. The boat is a sternwheel paddleboat, the cruise is about 1 1/2 hrs. The scenery is breathtaking, as are some of the homes along the river. The Captain narrates, pointing out things of interest, making the cruise that much more enjoyable. I would think young and old alike would find... more

The Star of Saugatuck is a 90 minute tour of the Saugatuck-area waterways. The captain of the boat narrates the tour with information about the sights and the history of the area. If the water is calm, the boat will go quite a way out into Lake Michigan, which allows a good view of the shoreline. It really helps put... more

What could be better? A beautiful cruise on the Kalamazoo River from downtown Saugatuck out to Lake Michigan, sun setting over Lake Michigan...
