The carousel is an interesting place to visit once or twice. Once you've seen and ridden the carousel, you've derived about as much of the entertainment value it has to offer. See it once and enjoy it but you're not likely to hang out there.

This is just a great place for all age groups. It is mainly geared toward families but i have even seen senior citizens enjoying the ride and the rocking chairs provided. The carousel of course is the main attraction. The animals are all hand carved and very colorful. Any age group can ride as they have a variety of different... More

The carousel is precious. It's nice to bring back a piece of history. The cost is ok. I forgot how much the fee to ride it is but it is indoors and has a nice museum there. Definitely ride it and your kids too! It's a must if you are visiting.

It was rainy all day so we spent a lot of time riding the carousel with our 1.5 year old daughter. It was not only fun but beautiful as well!

Kids enjoyed the carousel and the fun attractions. Volunteers are a little cranky. I walked to another horse on the carousel and got scolded for moving while the carousel was moving. I understood but thought they were a little rude when they continued to tell me after one attendant had already told me. I think once was enough.

Katie W, Public Relations Manager at Silver Beach Carousel, responded to this review

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your experience at the carousel - we're so happy your child enjoyed their first carousel ride! We are very sorry if our volunteers came off as rude. Their number one concern is in the safety of all our riders. If they see something safe, they're taught to say something... More

This is the way a carousel should be. Hand carved wood with organ music. Great time. So glad we stopped

Lovely carousel. Beautifully carved and painted animals. There are horses, chickens, flamingos, bears, and giraffes. The are moving animals and stationary creatures. There are even park type benches for two such as peacocks for an even calmer experiance. Who would not be impressed?! Completely enclosed. Check out the beautiful display in the room were you purchase the tokens. I expected... More

This is a fun attraction for kids and adults! Cotton candy, popcorn, ride the Beautiful Carousel. Many displays of days long ago. Old time music machine. Put in a quarter and see an animated display of what used to be Silver Beach amusement park in all it's glory.
