What a gorgeous carousel!! The employees were kind and informative about each animal on the carousel. Each animal has a story! The haunted village was adorable!!! They also offer cotton candy, carmel corn and soft drinks to purchase. Nice stop!

The restored carousel was at the Beach many years ago and has been restored and in operation. $2 a ride, many artifacts from the 'old days' and it's all free! A great place for kids.

This is a beautiful carousel. Very interesting animals on it and nostalgic. Feels like you are back in the olden times. Kids love it. Older folks seem to love it too.

My kids love it. Most of the staff is quite present. However there was one older blonde. lady who completely ruined this year's trip. At least 30 minutes after riding with our two small children she came over to scold us ( we are 32 year old responsible adults not children) about the way we held onto our youngest child.... More

I spent the day at Silver Beach and I had no idea of the history behind this beautiful area. Historically, Silver Beach was a haven for summer visitors from Chicago and the site of a popular amusement park. The carousel, which is now indoors, is beautifully decorated and the horses and other animals are representative of local colleges, and other... More

This was an area we stumbled upon, while looking for a beach to hang out for the day. We were actually headed to Benton Harbor, glad we found this area. The whole area well kept, clean and family oriented. The water cannons across street for kids to play is one of the sharpest ones I've seen. The Carousel is a... More
