I walk this (or the south pier) 3-5 times a week. As a warning this is very weather related activity: If the winds are anywhere out of the North to WNW and over 15 mph, you probably will have waves over the pier. Also note that the pier is very slippery when wet. All the above said, it is a... More

The pier and the lighthouse is accessible from the Tiscornia Park. Right now pier is under construction. Lighthouse is beautiful at all seasons and both day and night. Great spot for the photographers.

The weather was not conducive to visiting this lighthouse. It was scenic, however, and in good weather would be a nice visit.

As you walk from the beach to the light house, you will be great by many friendly people. On a nice weekend, you will see a lot of boats parked near the beach and many coming and going in between the North and South pier's. Only go on this pier on a nice day, because heavy winds will blow waves... More

I imagine it'd be a nice place to go but considering that we were there in historically bad conditions, it wasn't much of an attraction for us.

This "attraction" is a plain lighthouse. It's not even a nice lighthouse. It looks a bit rundown and parts of it looks under construction. There's a long walkway next to it where you can walk out to view it better or you can take the other walkway that it's located on and walk right up to it. Not really much... More

We enjoy visiting this lighthouse in all four seasons of the year. The views are breath taking, and no view is ever the same.

This lighthouse is accessible from Tiscornia Beach, just north of Silver Beach (across the St. Joseph River). You will need to pay a $5 parking fee to park your car, or you can walk there on a lovely day for free. You are allowed to walk all the way to the end of the pier, but with any other attraction... The lighthouse is undergoing a major multi-million dollar renovation and has been kind of "undercover" for most of the summer. The unveiling due hopefully soon...however, kind of interesting to visit when the renovation is in progress to even appreciate the NEW update more.
