Was too cold / windy / wavy to go out

I imagine it'd be a nice place to go but considering that we were there in historically bad conditions, it wasn't much of an attraction for us.

This "attraction" is a plain lighthouse. It's not even a nice lighthouse. It looks a bit rundown and parts of it looks under construction. There's a long walkway next to it where you can walk out to view it better or you can take the other walkway that it's located on and walk right up to it. Not really much... More

We enjoy visiting this lighthouse in all four seasons of the year. The views are breath taking, and no view is ever the same.

This lighthouse is accessible from Tiscornia Beach, just north of Silver Beach (across the St. Joseph River). You will need to pay a $5 parking fee to park your car, or you can walk there on a lovely day for free. You are allowed to walk all the way to the end of the pier, but with any other attraction... The lighthouse is undergoing a major multi-million dollar renovation and has been kind of "undercover" for most of the summer. The unveiling due hopefully soon...however, kind of interesting to visit when the renovation is in progress to even appreciate the NEW update more.

nice long walk out, interesting to see older lighthouse. Busy along the way out with fishermen so the fishing might be good.

It was a beautiful walk out to pier light but couldn't walk to the lighthouse---it was under construction. Nothing was said online or any info that this was going on.

Lighthouse and Pier are closed for main/re-painting. Guess it will be better soon but disappointed. Beaches are very nice though.

These are a must for the Lake Michigan Light House Tour. While you don't have access to the interior, the walk on the pier is delightful. The lighthouses are interesting and the view is spectacular. A little hard to find, but worth the effort.

The lighthouse and pier were under repair during our visit, but we were able to see it by walking the other long pier next to it. I was happy to see that the community is restoring an important part of history.
