Just returned from the UP and very glad we made a stop by the Deer Ranch. The fawns are like little puppies wagging their tails along with the older deer both were super friendly coming up to our family. The older deer could be fed carrots and crackers. We will be back..

So glad we went and checked this place out. We all enjoyed feeding the deer and just watching their interaction. We would recommend this place to others and we will return on our next visit.

The Deer Ranch is exactly what you would expect. Lots of deer. You can feed the fawns if you visit at the right time of the year. The bucks are huge. The pens are visitor friendly meaning you can feed, photo, and get close to the animals. They have a nice gift shop with fair prices. My teenage son and... More

We've gone to the Deer Ranch on multiple occasions with our granddaughter. She LOVES to feed the deer and see the fawns. The current owners have made improvements to the property which make it cleaner and easier to feed the deer. A must do for kids when visiting the area!

Great place to take the family. You can pet the deer and feel the velvet on the antlers. Nice souvenirs in the small shop. Very inexpensive ($5/adults).

My son and I love going to the Deer ranch when we are in Mackinaw. The staff is ultra friendly and we love not only feeding the deer but petting the fawns also. Its a great place for the young kids. For a dollar, you can but a cup full of carrot stick r a sleeve of saltines to feed... More

Kids had a blast running around feeding the deer. Deer are in large fenced in areas and readily eat the carrots offered. Cost $5 to enter and carrots in a cup are $1. One cup will be enough for most. Little ones wanted at least another cup to give though. Worth the stop. Will do again in the future.

We had a great time feeding and petting the deer. We bought the carrots and a sleeve of crackers at $1 each. The deer were happy to spend time with us. Even the biggest bucks got up and came over to see what we had for them. My husband and 15 year old step daughter got a kick out of... More

We stopped here on our vacation. The entrance fee was $5.00-not bad since you can take your time to walk and feed the deer. There are carrots and saltines for sale to feed the deer at $1.00 each. It is cute to see the deer run to the fence when they realize that you have food. We were able to... More
