We have been coming up here for over 15 years for the car cruise and enjoy it every year. It is an event that we try not to miss. They consistently bring in top names to support the event and do a great job with the organization.

Go on in to the Chamber of Commerce in St. Ignace to get the inside scoop on the area from very friendly folks!! They also offer a coupon bag giving discounts for shops and the local area. These nice people told us about the free summer concerts at marina park. Stop in here at the beginning of your trip!!

Upon arrival into St. Ignace, make sure to stop by the Chamber of Commerce. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable and will make sure you don't miss anything upon your visit. They recommended restaurants, places to see and things to do while we were there. They also taught us how to correctly pronounce St. Ignace as well as... More

Staff was very helpful in showing us our way around st.ignace. Not sure we would have made it without them. Stopped in several times for directions and detail. A must stop for tourists.

The historic board walk, complete with signs, is run down, poorly maintained and the signs, which refer you to a web site, smart phone scan or phone number to learn more about each site is not working. Come on, guys. Tourism is your biggest business, and you should have things more spruced up, and up and running by now. That... More

Always impressed by how the city officials strive to make this "sleepy little town" interesting and a place you'd want to come back to. (as we did) Every restaurant table has a display card of events and activities, they do fireworks all summer, and the public spaces (harbour boardwalk, gardens, etc.) are always well kept. Except for a few hotels,... More

The woman at the desk in the Chamber was very friendly, and very knowledgable about the area. She helped me plan my trip to Mackinac Island. A little later, when I went to the Ojibwa Museum, I was surprised to see the same woman behind the counter in the gift shop at the museum. She laughed and said oh, yes,... More

The woman who helped us was remarkable. Not only did we get information about St. Ignace, we were given tips and brochures about other destinations in the U.P. we were considering.
