I really like the Emagine chain of movie theaters - the prices are reasonable and the theaters are well maintained. My only problem with the Royal Oak location is the constrictions due to its size. There are only a couple large theaters and if you are in one of the smaller ones and don't pay for the premium seats you... More

Anytime you can get a drink with your popcorn, you know the movie will be even better. It is such a treat to see a movie here. Very clean and well kept, with premium seating so comfortable that you can sit back and just enjoy the movie.

The Royal Oak Emagine Theaters are everything you would expect - luxury seats, space that you can find only in first class, superb sound, bowling alley, bar cum cocktail lounge. The price reflects the amenities, but is probably worth it. What is missing is parking - or at least convenient parking. If you're lucky enough to snatch a spot, be... More

Close to home. Love the senior special on Wednesday. Hate the increase in price. Hate to pay for parking. I understand this is not the theaters choice, but the city of royal oak.

Easy parking in the Royal Oak Emagine Theater. Makes it easy when you can pay for the parking right along with the theater tickets. Last time we went they had a spin the wheel giveaway and we won another set of free tickets for my wife and I.

I liked this movie theater and thought it was great. Keep in mind when attending that there is a fee to park and an extra fee besides imagine if you would like an up front seat.

This theater is right downtown Royal Oak and can be part of a great day or night out in the city. We've enjoyed the the many screens and sizes of the theaters, the optional "D-box seats" that move with the action on the screen, and before, after or just stopping by for drinks, eats, and sports TV watching in their... The theater itself is plush, comfy and modern. Brand new, in fact. Parking can be accommodated by getting a punched ticket from the theater but that does not include all parking places. The approved spots are not clearly marked.

I went to see Man of Steel (which turned out to be very good), but had to watch it in pieces. The movie stopped several times, and had to be restarted, and during the movie, we watched sections through a red film. We were offered our money back and passes for out trouble. When the movie ended, we were only... More

I was at a private party in January and had a wonderful experience (other than finding a parking place). Then we returned to watch a movie and had no choice but to pay $7 for valet parking. We waited 10 minutes to buy a ticket. The lobby was a zoo. Once in the theater, it was fine. Seats were very... More
