I've attended a music show and a movie at this venue, and I'm just not sold on it. The seating is sort of odd (felt like I was a long ways away from the artist), and the acoustics are not that great. Seems like it would be a great theatre for an electronic show, but for an acoustic/indie musician it... More

We bought tickets for the Dave Rawlings Machine concert and were looking forward to a great show by one of the best acts in Americana music. I had attended a concert here years ago before it was converted into a "club" style venue and was extremely disappointed with the changes. Seating is either on metal chairs around tables on the... Sold out does not mean crowded. We could only get standing but that was better than sitting farther back. Bar was fast. Sound was great. Valet parking is $7. Expired meter is $10. Ask me how I know.

I love going to the Royal Oak Music Theatre! It;s a small venue and a great place to see/hear music. Drinks aren't bad either.

Nice little venue outside of Detroit. Parking nearby, easy in/out back to highway. Sound and staging very good. Floor is slanted, so GA section has good sightlines. Bar service at the rail. Excellent idea, wish more venues did this. Overall, very nice and would definitely go back for another show.

I attended a concert by a favorite artist, and the sound was over-amplified, distorted, uncomfortable, unbearable. Never attend a concert here if you love the artist or her music.

The way that the theater has been set up using various flat levels rather than a sloping floor makes it difficult to see the performance if you are not in the first couple of rows of a level. Also, the plastic folding chairs were uncomfortable. If you purchase tickets, be certain to get seating in the first row of a... More

The theatre was set up with folding chairs for the comedy show I attended. I felt it was difficult to find my seats without the help of ushers, which they did have plenty helping. The seats are metal folding chairs so it makes for people moving their chairs around and intoxicated people standing up and knocking their chairs over which... More

This venue is set up in tiers on the main floor with a small balcony. The sound was great but its an odd setup.
