We've enjoyed many great concerts here. It's large enough to draw good acts and small enough to be up close and personal. Seating can be a challenge if not reserved, but crowds tend to be happy and friendly and most everyone is there for a good time, parking decks fill up so get there early and grab a bite to... More

This is my neighborhood concert venue and I love it! They have a pretty decent lineup of up-and-coming bands plus a few big name acts from time to time. I saw Adele here for $17 before she got big. General admission is kind of pain as you have to get their early (and stand around) for a good spot, but... More

Royal Oak is ONE Cool Town, as is its' neighbor Ferndale. The ROMT is such an amazing place to see a show. Crowds are beautiful, polite, intelligent, creative and interesting. Doesn't get better. Been seeing shows Here since I was a Kid. Returned after decades of living elsewhere, and it is still the best location for large bands in a... More

This is a great place to see a concert. The location is perfect for grabbing dinner and drinks before the show.

You are eligible for a parking ticket in the city of Royal Oak even after paying to park in a public garage. I learned this the hard way in March of 2014 when I returned to my vehicle after a night on the town. It's sad to see a municipality so desperate for revenue. I doubt if I will ever... More

I've seen a few concerts here lately -- this is an awesome venue. It's big enough that you never feel over-crowded, and small enough that it preserves a real feeling of intimacy and camaraderie…also great for photos & videos. You can very near the stage, if you so desire!

I wish there was an option for zero stars because that is what I feel is deserved for the experience I had there last Friday night. We had tickets to see the Impractical Jokers show at 10pm February 21st, for barstool seats. Shouldn't have been a problem, except the rows of seats were placed so closely together that we were... I saw Jimmy Eat World last night at this venue. It was my first time and I was pretty impressed. Everyone moved thru the line smoothly, they check ID's for 21+ before doors open, this makes things much easier! The venue isn't too small or large, just right for a more intimate concert setting. I didn't feel squished or too... More

We went to see Alabama Shakes last night. There were two opening bands. Doors opened at 8:00, which was a bit late IMO for a Wed. night. Alabama Shakes didn't even come out until well after 10:00. Not sure if that was a venue or band issue, but I was disappointed with the timing and sick of waiting around. Keep... More
