We visited the Air Zoo with our twin 10 year old grandsons. We have been making rockets all summer and this was the perfect trip before they head back to school. The boys enjoyed the planes and all of the rides. They loved the simulator. Grandpa and Grandma were amazed at the quantity and quality of the planes included in... More

I was absolutely blown away by this place. I've been to the Air Force Museum at Wright Pat and the Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola NAS. This is far-and-away MUCH better than the P'cola museum and, in terms of sheer number of displays, a very very VERY close second to the AF museum. When we paid the paltry $10 entry... More

It's obvious that the people who restore these antique airplanes and make them available to the public love what they do. Everyone we met, from the staff to the volunteers who introduce you to the museum, was friendly, informative and enthusiastic. We enjoyed looking at the beautifully restored planes and the other historical exhibits about space and military equipment were... More

My husband and I almost passed this by thinking it was mostly for families and kids. It is not! We found it very interesting and ended up spending more than 2 hours there. Don't miss it if you are in the area. Well worth the cost of admission.

Went there on a Saturday morning with husband and 3 year old daughter. She was free due to her age and had unlimited rides. Husband and I paid for general admission so we didn't do everything (like the 4D movie or motion simulator rides) but we still had a good time. We saw lots of elderly vets acting as free... More

We went to the Air Zoo on a cooler day for something to do. The fee to enter is worth the cost. Make sure you get the unlimited package so the kids can ride as many times as they want (parents too). There are actually rides in side the building. Appropriate for kids of all ages. There is a flight... More

If you can get the kids to read about the history than great. The rides are interesting and fun and the theater is really cool. Watch the shows in 3D and learn some interesting facts. You will see refurbished airplanes and pieces of history! Downside is not much else of interest to do in the area so this is more... More

The billboards along the interstate don't do the place justice - after seeing the billboards I thought it was a place you went star-gazing! An impressive number of airplanes, along with some carinal rides and other aviation themed exhibits. Well worth the $10!

I have mixed feelings about the Air Zoo. First, I was impressed by the mint conditions of the airplanes & the thorough descriptions. I also appreciated all the knowledgeable guides and volunteers who were available for questions. The kids rides were fun & perfect for toddlers. But I didn't expect to have to explain air warfare to my 4 year... More

We visited the air zoo with a large group ranging from children to grandparents. We spent about 3 hours there, and there was something for everyone. First, if you are at all interested in airplanes, this place is a must. But even if you are not an airplane buff, you will be impressed with what you see. There is a... More
