A minor charge for museum admission, but gift shop and rail car are available for viewing free of charge. Several panels with interesting facts and information about Thomas Edison are also available outside the museum.

This is a nice little museum and does not take long to walk through. It gives a nice look into Edison’s life the early years. I learned a few things I did not know and the exhibits are done up well. The Bluewater bridge to Canada is just to the outside and has a nice walking path under the bridge... More

Adjacent to the museum is a bike rental. Don't miss renting a peddle-power surrey for your family to bike around town. It looks like an old fashioned covered surrey which can seat quite a few people and up to four people can peddle at the same time. Totally worth the price for rental The museum was okay.

i have lived in port huron for 13 years and i have seen many tourist waste there money going into this place, it's a little house surrounded by windows you can see everything in there without paying to go in, but if you want to see it up close it is pritty cool.

this museum is located right by the bluewater bridge to canada from the u.s. There is a railroad car from the 19 th century which is part of it and sparked our interest. The railroad car was somewhat of a disappointment as most of the seating had been replaced with tables for a classroom which is currently using it. There... More

This little museum can be quickly toured; it does provide an excellent view into Thomas Edison's early life. The exhibits are done very well, and the short movie about Edison, with him narrating, is nicely done. The young man at the ticket booth was very uninformative, and didn't explain ticket pricing at all; we later found out we could purchase... More

We chose Port Huron as a midway rest stop on our way from Toronto ONT to Holland MI. It was just a place on the map that was convenient. But, we found it a great place to visit. Since we had a few hours to rest before we continued our visit, we drove to the water front (without any particular... More
