Since we moved to the southwest 10 years ago we have seen many changes in the way we are able to cross the border. There has been a significant amount of investment in the Blue Water Bridge and the new plazas. The second week of July I wanted to go to lunch at Purdy's in Sarnia on The St. Clair... More

Crossed to Ontario at noon and came back on Monday about 3...still waited an hour. Not too efficient. Pretty view on the top. Loved watching the freighters while we waited.

We parked at the boardwalk then walked under the bridge. There are many monuments and historical tidbits along the way. It was a beautiful river walk. To just sit and relax watching the boats pass under the busy bridge was enjoyable. There is also a playground nearby. We didn't go on the bridge, so I can't list any details about... More

This bridge is so pretty to see at night all lit up. Park at the park by the boardwalk, and wait until the sun goes down.

A very nice park nearby allows you to view the Blue Water Bridge and the marina beneath it. You can sit and watch the ships pass by and enjoy the view of Sarnia, Canada across the waterway.

from USA to Canada? a breeze. several easy to understand signs. from Canada to USA? mass stupidity. the USA drops the entire bridge to a single lane for cars..and a special profit generating lane for those with special passes..and a truck lane. since 99% is cars..the money grab toll...4.50..followed immediately by another line of border guys? shows how the USA... It was really pretty at night. We watched the river traffic and people crossing the border from the patio area.

The many traffic lanes aided in our speed across to Canada. The motel was just a very short way from the Bridge and the traffic, overall was easy to navigate.

Beautiful. espeically at night when it is all lit up. Great spot for taking pictures from Pine Grove park on the water. I have been across it a couple times going back and forth to Niagara Falls. The wait was way long and annoying but still go and check the view. There is a long walkway that starts at the... More

Enjoying the view of the water and great photo ops on a nice stroll on the River walk. First time over to Canada through this side. Too close to not take the drive on a nice extended Memorial Holiday weekend and beautiful weather.
