Beautiful beach with excellent rock searching. This summer ther were a lot of biting flies. Glad to have sup stand up paddle boards which kept us away from the flies. Beautiful sunset plagued with Mosquitos. Yes we felt the presence of the spirit world there. Museum is excellent

Very beautiful lighthouse and definitely worth the drive. My husband and I drove out here after visiting the Oswald Bear Ranch. We took the longer route to get there from the ranch which was about 30 miles of windy dirt trail roads, but it was very peaceful and a beautiful trip. Once we got to the lighthouse it was definitely... More

We've visited the lighthouse several times over the years and its really wonderful to see the progress they are making with its restoration. The view from the top is worth the climb

Beautiful light house. The keepers rotate frequently but the couple we ran into was very helpful and knowledgeable. It's only 18 miles from M-123 but it took 2 hours to drive there and back.

After traveling to the top of Whitefish Point's Lighthouse, we really appreciated the trek to this one. First, print up and follow the directions to it from the website. They are SPECTACULAR and the person that typed them out, could not be any clearer and they were easy to follow. Yes, there are plenty of signs along the way to... More

Great scenery, quiet and remote. Be aware of the time of year you go though the biting flies are a killer on the experience.

There is a drive down some gravel/sandy roads that can get pretty hairy at some of the hills and tight turns, but the destination was worth it. Very beautiful and very remote. The view from the light was great. It was 55, semi foggy and breezy on July 26th so include a coat in your vehicle. This area is not... More

Beautiful lighthouse with awesome views. Most impressive was the very small crowd. Not appropriate for motorcyclists due to loos dirt roads.
