Coming back from Whitefish Pt, we took the dirt road to the lighthouse. Such an adventure. The end result was a glorious view of Lake Superior and a very nice lighthouse. It had been foggy at Whitefish, but not at Crisp Point. It was nicely maintained, quiet, and lots of new benches.

We were surprised by the rough and bumpy road - but it was definitely worth the trip. The lighthouse is very nice, the beach awesome and people in the store very nice and ready to share a story about the lighthouse.

The view at crisp point was amazing. I would have said it was very worth the rough, bumpy ride except my family wasn't able to stay long. We were being swarmed by biting flies and that ruined the experience for us. For the beauty alone I wish I could have left a better review, but the flies made a negative... More

Since we were at Tahquaenon Falls, we thought we would try something new. I saw reviews on the Crisp Point Lighthouse and thought it would be nice to check another lighthouse off our list. We had directions and were ready for an adventure. The roads were rough and narrow at some points, but were well marked. There were even signs... More

I heard about this lighthouse back in 1992 when my father worked with the co-founder Don Ross. My family made the trip and we were not disappointed. This beauty was almost lost forever, but Don and Nellie saved this for future generations. If you love to visit, join the crisp point historical society to continue to improve and maintain this lighthouse... More

An amazing example of what can be accomplished by volunteers. We tried two years ago to find this lighthouse by following our Garmin GPS instructions and got on to a road that never made it to the lighthouse. This time we followed the instructions given by the Crisp Point Lighthouse Association -- the directions in their brochure. Sure enough, the... More

this is a great lighthouse; we love this place but the drive is a bit tricky; not reccomended with a new vehical. there is no electricity but they do have potties; make you wonder if it is only 15 miles apart from white fish pt. if you go by beach. but it would be rather tricky

We have been going to Crisp Point for so many years I cannot remember when we didn't go. The changes that have been done are amazing. We were not sure we liked the upgrades and all the construction at first, but if it has help save the Lighthouse and the surrounding landscape we are definitely for it. It is so... More

The drive to Crisp Point is fairly long-it's dirt road the whole way with washboard road to Little Lake and then a 7 mile stretch of narrow dirt with numerous ruts. But don't be discouraged from going. We have a Flex and didn't have any trouble. It's a gorgeous ride through the forest worth taking in its own. The lighthouse... More
