We spent a week camping in Tahquamenon Falls State Park. There is a beautiful campground, plenty of hiking trails, the falls, boat rentals and more. This is a campground where you need to be super organized as civilization is a 20+ minute drive away, you don't want to forget anything from the grocery store!

An absolutely beautiful park! A must-see attraction for a U.P. vacation! Lots of trails, sights, even numerous gift shops and restaurants in the park itself.

Get there earlier in the day to avoid traffic and find easier parking. Although the upper falls get more attention, I really enjoyed the lower falls as the walk in was easier and they provided a. Ice boardwalk to walk around and get different vistas. The upper falls require a little more effort if you want the best pics.

Hiked through the woods from the upper falls to the lower falls and it was an incredible experience. The trail was fairly rugged but extremely well maintained. Beautiful scenery! We took the shuttle back to our car (6 mile hike was enough) and the shuttle driver was outstanding. Very friendly and informative. If ever in the area, it's a must... More

I have been coming to the falls since I was a small child, I came here during my Anniversary and have been here multiple times since. It is PURE Michigan at it's best. See Upper and Lower falls. I actually walked along the side, What an adventure!

This is a beautiful park. The upper falls has a restaurant and park rangers with interpretive centers. The restrooms are clean and the park is well kept. There are a number of benches along the trails to the viewing areas. There is adequate parking as well. The lower falls are best seen from the island in the river. There are... More

Tahquamenon Falls are beautiful. There are two separate viewing areas of the falls, upper and lower. Both areas have parking lots and nice walkways to the viewing areas. For the more adventurous there is a walkway between them as well. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the experience I gave it a lower rating as you need to be careful how you... More

Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! I took the paved path to the lower falls and enjoyed the view from several different observation decks. A four mile drive further and I hit the upper falls. There was a paved walkway to those as well. There were several observation platforms and about 96 steps to the last deck. A... More

This place is one of the best you have two LARGE water falls to see. The upper and lower falls with all that makes them one. You can walk a short distance or you can walk a long distance to see the length of the falls. It perfect for family pics and selfie's.
