This park in downtown Northville is a real gem. My wife and I visit several times a year to enjoy an evening stroll along the river and among the historical buildings. It's like a mini Greenfield Village. Don't miss the annual Victorian Festival each September, it often includes an 1860s baseball game with regional teams in period uniforms playing according... This is a sweet little collection of historical buildings moved to a bucolic site alongside the river. If you're visiting the town of Northville, stop by for the short stroll through the village. It's not enough of an attraction to be a destination, but stop by the town for lunch.

Although we visited at a time that the homes were not open, it was still very pretty and very relaxing to just slowly walk around. The buildings are lovely and they have done a good job restoring them. Besides that, it's free!

I found this place by accident on the way to drop a package to UPS. Apparently this place has been well known to locals for the place to take engagement pictures and wedding ceremony. When we went there- it was saturday and the office was closed and all the buildings were closed but we were able to walk around the... More

This is not a destination site, but definitely worth time as part of a day out. It adjoins a city park that contains a playscape and pleasant walking path along a creek; the combination creates a nice family outing. The village itself is comparatively small but beautifully laid out and landscaped. Unlike some other historical sites it has the feel... More

This is a family park that happens to include some historic buildings, some of which you can enter. There is a creek running through the park and a children's play area. We have taken our grandchildren there a number of times. Mostly it is a comfortable place to walk and let kids play in a old-fashioned-looking setting.

This place is great. The grounds are kept up. The buildings are historic and educational. The gazebo is a favorite to stop and enjoy the moment. It is great in all seasons. Fun place to practice photography.

Kids love the imaginative playground and also feeding the ducks in the nearby pond and also include a lovely walk around the park.

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding here this past weekend and I have to say it was a very cutesy place. Everything is decorated in an old fashioned theme. The ceremony was in a little white wedding chapel which was pretty cool! The grounds of mill race village are very cool with a few different types of buildings... More
