Yes, they sell apples. If you want apples, it is a great place to go. BUT, even if you hate apples, this is a place worth a drive to see. We drove up from Traverse City to see the place. Even if you are not an apple fan, the display of 10,000 pop bottles is jaw dropping! There were free apple samples to taste. The owner had great recommendations for varieties to try when I told her which were my favorites. I was unfamiliar with antique applies and I learned a lot. Great place!

That's what the sign says out front. If the names Pearmain, Pippin, or Northern Spy get your tastebuds tingling, this is the place for you. This family raises more than 200 varieties of apples, many almost gone from North American orchards. Lots of them are winter apples, so come in October for the best assortment. So many historic apples and so many different flavors of apples. Loved the banana flavored apple.

If you are anywhere near Northport Michigan during the apple season, don't miss John and Phyllis' apple farm. They grow 200 varieties, many antique heirlooms from around the world that are suited to the cooler climate.
