This is where I take my daughter. Great little town. Nice beach. Pretty good boat traffic to watch. The walkway up in the small dunes are great for some photo ops. Not too busy, not too slow. More

It is a public beach and you have to pay for parking?!!! Where I grew up public beaches were for the public...they were free! Also, the beach is small and often times closed in the summer due to e. coli issues. More

Go blueberry picking in Laporte in the morning, have lunch at Redamaks, and then finish the afternoon at this huge, fun beach. It's so much nicer than the beaches in Chicago. More

Great walking beach. nice boardwalk and wonderful views. I have not gone in the water here. More
