The beach is wonderful, but the trash left behind by other beach goers in not :(. I will definitely go and watch the sunset with my wife again.

The sand was clean. The views were wonderful. There were several volleyball nets and a nice kids play set on the sand.

Walk from Coast Guard base to sub along inlet walkway. Some info signs worn and unreadable. Views of Muskegon State Park on other side of inlet. Large picnic area w/ restrooms.

Is it really a lake? When you arrive in Pere Marquette Park, you face what looks like a classical white sand beach! Very nice place to walk along the lake, feet in sands, surrounding by waves, or to have a short nap under the sun. Lots of volleyball playground available.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches. Also, its HUGE. And it seems like parking is always accessible which makes it easy to get to where you need to be. Love walking to the lighthouse and back.

This beach is so beautiful! Very sandy, easy access and amazing sunsets. We visit every year, even if we are not swimming.
