On his suggestion the entrance to the cave has been enlarged, making it this way accessible to the entire world. The cave has two entrances: the smaller one artificially widened and deepened so that the boat could sail through, and the wider one, located at the southern part of the cave – the underwater passage, through which the magical game of the light and water is performed…Depending on the season, the ideal moment to visit the cave is between 9 and 13 o’clock in the morning. « less

We can confirm all the comments that have been written, this is quite exceptional and something with a rare beauty. For us this has been balanced by the fact that many tourists want to get to this spot and hence you need to be prepared for a visit limited to 5 - 10 mins. Leaving from Comiza we took a... More

Well, I am visiting this natural beauty every year, since I live in Split, so every summer, with my friends I come back when sailing. The Cave is illuminated from openings, just below and at the water level, adding a blue glow to the cave and water. The entrance is quite low, but amazing feeling.

As I said in the title; Blue Cave is truly a magical place! The way that the sunlight plays with the sea water, penetrating through the only crack into the cave are reflected in the sea, creating incredible light effects is truly unique experience you just have to live to tell! I honestly and warmly recommend you visit this fairytale... More

Worth a visit. Went just after mid day and the colour in the cave was amazing. Guy waiting in boat to charge 40 kn per person to enter. He is not always there so you may get a freebie. The bay is too deep to anchor if arriving on own boat. Can use small boys to secure boat before using... More

Blue cave is small, but it was first time for me to visit there and was very mysterious and amaizing! This tour... More

The blue cave has a nice feel to it, but I wouldn´t recommend it for claustrophobics. The entrance is very low and you have to duck in the boat. The blue light is very beautiful though, and I enjoyed the experience.

On seeing the entrance to the Blue Cave we didn't know how our boat was going to get through - the dinghies coming out were tiny and we were on a much bigger one! We had to crouch right down into the boat to avoid being decapitated as we edged through the narrow entrance, but once in, we could sit... More

It's worth a trip to this remote spot to see this unusual natural phenomenon. The cave isn't very big so it doesn't take very long but the blue light from under the water is incredible.

This place was really cool. We got off our boat to get on a smaller one to fit through the opening. There were 3 boats inside the cave so it was a bit crowded. We only stayed inside for a few minutes which seemed short. Regardless, this is a place worth visiting for sure!
