I've taken numerous tours with Pictured Rocks Cruises over the years and I've loved every one of them! You never know what weather you'll get here, as fog can hold on for the day, as happened to me once, which of course prevented the chance of going on the cruise. The funny thing is, just south of town it was... More

Staff was courteous, the boat was filled with tourists and their cameras ready. It wasn't overcrowded and people were free to walk around the boat, rather than being bound to their seats. Our trip was cut short due a sudden dense fog. The captain announced that for safety reasons they decided to return to the harbor. People were offered a... More

We were in the U.P. On vacation and checking out all the sites. The Picture rocks tour was a great trip. They gave us loads of info as well as up close and amazing views of all the rocks, formations, colors of nature working its magic. Would go again!

The cruises are nice but pricey. Its funds nearly all of Munising activities so that's why it's costly. But it was nice to meet people from all over the world on our cruise. They were from Europe Asia South America Canada. Always take a windbreaker jacket and snug fitting hat as the winds off Lake Superior can send a chill... More

We really enjoyed the boat tour. It was well worth the price. Two things to keep in mind: we took the 10am tour and we were looking into the sun a good portion of the cruise. I'd recommend later in the day. Second, there was no water flowing from Bridalveil Falls since it was fall and hadn't recently rained. Spring/early... More

We took the regular cruise on August 5, 2015 at 2 PM . We were three travelers. Positives: It was a smooth ride. The water was so beautiful it looked like as if we were in the Caribbean Sea in the shallow parts of the lake. The cruise began on schedule. The staff members appeared happy and helpful. Negatives: We... More

If you are anywhere near the upper peninsula go take this cruise. The landscape is astonishingly beautiful. The boat operators are great at what they do. If you are not anywhere near you should consider going just to see this.

We were on a driving trip from lower Michigan up through upper Michigan with some very good friends who knew the area. They told us about Picture Rocks, but nothing could compare with seeing it from the comfort of the cruise boat. The sun was shining, and the colors were spectacular. Our friends are knowledgeable, but the crew added even... More

My fiancé and I went on the cruise over Labor Day weekend 2015 and we were so happy we did. The tour guides were funny (sarcastic... what we like!) and friendly. I'd suggest getting to the boarding dock early so you can choose a seat on the upper or lower deck. We got there late and had to sit on... More

This is the second time we have taken this cruise. It is MUST while visiting Pictured Rocks. Each cruise has a narrator which makes the cruise a great learning experience. Mid day cruise is not the greatest for photograpy but still worth it if that is the only time you can go.
