We opted for the Sunset Cruise, as the colors of the Pictured Rocks would be subliminal at such a time and it sure was. I was mesmerized how the colors of those rocks came alive in the sunshine. However when the sun was not shining on these rocks, these rocks were grey and not that attractive any longer! I sat... More

I wanted to kayak but the water was way too choppy, so I hopped aboard the last boat out! It was a full house but I was able to see everything I wanted to. Great view of Spray Falls, grand Island lighthouse and all the different colors in the stone.

This was the 2nd time we have done this 3 hour tour. It was the last day they ran it in October. If you are a geologist you would go gaga. The colors of the rocks are beautiful and the captain of the cruise has a nice imagination pointing out what the formations look like. I particularly like the battleship... More

Wonderful way to see the Pictured Rocks from the water. Crew went out of their way to make it an informative and interesting experience. We went after Labor Day and it was still very popular. Get in line early if you want to get a good seat (upper deck, starboard) for the best views of the rocks. And be sure... More

I think this is the best way to see Pictured Rock lakeshore if you are traveling with family. Really knowledgable and friendly crew members. I was driving along UP with my mom showing here fall color at its peak and decided that we would drive up till Munising and do the cruise. The lake was pretty rough and the weather... More

We did a boat cruise after backpacking for 4 days. It was a wonderful way to top of our trip. The 2 hour-ish cruise was relaxing, and it was wonderful to see views from the water of the area we just hiked. We sat on the top deck, and it was a bit chilly in June, but we brought polar... More

I have done the Pictured Rocks Boat Tour back in September 2014. It was a very nice experience after I have visited the Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore by car (Miners Castle,...). There was quite a long queue as the tour of the day before was canceled due to rough weather, but we all managed to get in the upper... More

Pictured rocks is a really beautiful place and taking the sunset cruise was one great thing we did. There are cruises available at different times of the day but IMO, sunset cruise is the most spectacular ride. The rock formations were really nice under the setting sun light. The chapel, Indian head, pirate ships formations were really nice things to... More

This is a great tour! Pictured Rocks can not be fully seen in all her beauty without getting on the lake. If your not up to kayaking the lake for 4 or more hours, deff jump on this cruise. The staff was great and covered the history of the rocks during the trip. I suggest sitting up top, dress warm... More
