Recently 4 of our friends traveled from St. Louis to Upper Michigan for the long week end and we all were very happy to be here and it is definitely one of the best ones if you like nature, caverns, lake.... It is an excellent place to be in Upper Michigan and we actually skipped bear dunes to go here....... More

It was actually raining pretty hard the day we went but it was still worth every penny. The captain does a nice job describing the rock formations and slows down at particularly scenic points. There are numerous waterfalls and beaches as well.

we join the cruise as we want to see the pictured rocks, although it's already May 20th, but the weather on that day is quite cold, and very windy, so you have to wear think jacket with hat, scarf, actually it's better to have gloves because when you taking photos, you hands expose a lot and would make you feel... I had a few days off and wanted to experience the UP in spring. I was disappointed that some places weren't open yet. This cruise line opens early and gives an excellent view of the rocks and history. We left at 2pm and got back at 5pm. Staff was very curious and gave me a ride to the boat so... More

We opted for the Sunset Cruise, as the colors of the Pictured Rocks would be subliminal at such a time and it sure was. I was mesmerized how the colors of those rocks came alive in the sunshine. However when the sun was not shining on these rocks, these rocks were grey and not that attractive any longer! I sat... More

I wanted to kayak but the water was way too choppy, so I hopped aboard the last boat out! It was a full house but I was able to see everything I wanted to. Great view of Spray Falls, grand Island lighthouse and all the different colors in the stone.

This was the 2nd time we have done this 3 hour tour. It was the last day they ran it in October. If you are a geologist you would go gaga. The colors of the rocks are beautiful and the captain of the cruise has a nice imagination pointing out what the formations look like. I particularly like the battleship... More

Wonderful way to see the Pictured Rocks from the water. Crew went out of their way to make it an informative and interesting experience. We went after Labor Day and it was still very popular. Get in line early if you want to get a good seat (upper deck, starboard) for the best views of the rocks. And be sure... More

I think this is the best way to see Pictured Rock lakeshore if you are traveling with family. Really knowledgable and friendly crew members. I was driving along UP with my mom showing here fall color at its peak and decided that we would drive up till Munising and do the cruise. The lake was pretty rough and the weather... More
