Pictured rocks is a really beautiful place and taking the sunset cruise was one great thing we did. There are cruises available at different times of the day but IMO, sunset cruise is the most spectacular ride. The rock formations were really nice under the setting sun light. The chapel, Indian head, pirate ships formations were really nice things to... More

This is a great tour! Pictured Rocks can not be fully seen in all her beauty without getting on the lake. If your not up to kayaking the lake for 4 or more hours, deff jump on this cruise. The staff was great and covered the history of the rocks during the trip. I suggest sitting up top, dress warm... More

The guides were personable and very knowledgeable about the rocks and the area in general. Good boat captain. We took the waterfall tour and saw a few falls. The real beauty is the rocks, of course. There is a store/gift shop at the dock where you check-in and disembark.

My husband and I enjoyed our evening cruise this Fall. Even though the weather had been rainy and cloudy the experience was still majestic. Additionally, the crew was very professional, charming, and engaging in the narration tour. Our trip was also not interrupted with kennel fees for our dogs since the company provides them free of charge for their guests.... More

I don’t need to repeat the detail in the many other fine reviews. This boat ride was first on my list of things to do in Munising so the evening I arrived I bought a ticket for the 2pm trip the following day—a Saturday afternoon in late September. I got in line about 1:10pm and sitting on a bench on... More

Took the evening cruise. Beautiful! If you want a seat on the top deck, I would suggest you arrive early. Line starts forming about one hour before cruise begins. Our narrator did a great job. He was very personable and full of stories. If you like scenery and you are a photographer...this is the place for you. Worth the trip.... More

We took a cruise in mid Sept. We made reservations on Tuesday for the Thursday evening sunset cruise. The reservationist advised us they would be busy and that it was first come first served for seats. We arrived 45 mins before sailing and we were about 10th in line. By sailing time the line stretched the whole dock so they... More

We took the 10am cruise ....weather was sunny but cool. I opted to say inside the boat and my husband braved the upper deck to take photos. Unfortunately I sat on the side opposite of the good view on the first leg of the cruise....once we turned around and I was on the scenic side...the boat moved at a very... More

Great cruise and informative staff! The captain took care of us even during the rough waters we went out on and gave us the option to continue the cruise or turn around. So glad we were sailing with seaworthy people that day because it was an amazing sight and worth every bump and wave. Definitely well worth the trip.

While on a fall color tour, we decided to give Pictured Rocks Cruises a try. The 4:00 PM Spray Falls cruise was what we booked and it was truly worth every penny! We do professional photography and weren't disappointed by the views and close approaches that Captain Phil Miller provided for his passengers. It was a cool, crisp day with... More
