Yes, the tickets seem a bit pricey, but just do it. This is one of the most breath-taking experiences I have ever had. It is a few hour cruise, and you see the pictured rocks in all their splendor. The water is amazing, and the guides are helpful with their informative narrative. There is a deck above that is great... More

If you are anywhere near Munising Michigan you must do this cruise. We did the sunset cruise which I highly recommend. The sun setting on the Pictured rocks made for some spectacular pictures. The cruise "director" aka the captain, did an amazing commentary for the hour and bit out with lots of information about the area. On the way back... More

Absolutely breath-taking! Nature is cool, but I have to say the guy that brought it to life was Captain Phil. Knowledge of the area and a natural speaking style, made the trip seem short. Worth the time!

We're so glad we saw the Pictured Rocks by boat! Roads into the National Lakeshore are limited, and while there are trails, the best way to see the magnificent cliffs are by boat. While storms threatened off in the distance, we had calm waters and a very witty captain (Leo) who, with his two shipmates in attendance, pointed out the... More

I've taken this cruise four times, over the course of several decades. I always enjoy seeing the pictures "painted" on the rocks. I could go into detail, but their website takes care of that adequately. I was disappointed in the friendliness of the crew on the boat...they weren't. At one point, I asked the female crew member if I could... More

Pictured Rocks came to our attention on line while we planned a trip Up North for vacation. It is a long drive from the Harbor Springs area, where we stayed. We drove along Route 2 in the UP a good bit of the way and that part of the drive was very scenic. I cannot imagine seeing Pictured Rocks any... More

My rating is for the particular captain who drove our boat on the tour. He was relentless about completing our trip even though most of the passengers were seasick -- that is, puking. Evidently he was trying to prove something (sign of amateur?), which he definitely did: that he has no concept of customer service and couldn't care less about... More

My wife, three sons (14-12-12) and I took an unplanned trip to Munising and only knew that we must find a way to see the Pictured Rocks from the water. Through TA, we found the best reviews on Pictured Rocks Cruises. The Website was very easy to navigate and we were able to make our reservations securely for a "Sunset... More

The crew was exceptional! During the travel time to the rock formations, Captain Leo was both informative and entertaining with his narration. On the sunset cruise, the sun illuminated the rocks, making it great for photos. There is also a free, air conditioned kennel for your pets while you're on the cruise. Thanks Captain Leo for a great cruise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 1/2 hour cruise on Lake Superior to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It would be very difficult to get to some of the park's most interesting sites, since much of the park is accessible by foot only. And even so, one could not see the views from shore as well as the view from the... More
