This boat ride tour of Grand Island was almost like an amusement park ride. The tour made it's way around the island pointing out highlights. We enjoyed it a lot because we had backpacked/camped on the island a few days before and it was nice to see island from the water point of view. The 'ride' part came when the... More

Great ride- be prepared to get bumped around when the boat stops but why else would it be called riptide?? Tim is great and the views were amazing. This is a great trip for people who want a little more adventure than the slower moving pictured rocks cruises. His wife was great too and they have a great gift shop.

This was a blast. Its a local family owned place, and a fun trip. The trip is about 2 hours, it was a nice day and a really fun way to see Grand Island and Pictured Rocks from the water. This was so much fun, we did 360's and drove under waterfalls. Capitan Tim was a great driver, we actually... More

Many people like the slow leisurely ride on the Pictured Rocks boat tours. Nothing wrong with that. However, if you really want to pump up your adrenalin AND get great views of the Pictured Rocks, Grand Island, and more, then the Riptide Ride is the way to go. Captain Tim will take you out for a couple of hours on... More

We've been at Pictured Rocks and had a boat-tour with Riptide Ride. The whole family had so much fun.It was the best decission to do that. Especially my wife -prefered a standard boat ride before- was thrilled by that boat tour. It was fantastic and the captain with his family in office and gift shop are so beautifull people. We've... This family owned business is top notch. We booked a 1:00 ride and with a thick fog and a storm rolling in, they rescheduled us for 5:00. The day way still foggy, which added a really cool element to Grand Island. Captain Tim was awesome, gave a great tour and tons of fun. His daughter got us ready for the... More

This was a wonderful experience for the whole family! There were little kids on the boat as well as older passengers - I think everyone had a great time. Prepare to get soaked as you learn about Grand Island. You want to get there a little early to get a seat on the left side since the tour is counterclockwise... More

We were looking for something different and ran across this boat trip. What a wonderful experience as Captain Tim did an awesome job describing/showing the different items about Grand Island. Then the little extra things he did to make the boat ride exciting just made the trip complete!

This was the highlight of our vacation. Captain Tim was amazing and his tour was fantastic. Two thumbs up! In comparison, our family did the high dollar 6.5 hr kayak tour through Uncle Ducky's Paddling Michigan and I must say we saw and had more fun riding the Riptide Ride. Here you get what you see advertised and then some.
