For our two long half days in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, from east to west, via land and water, this was our last stop, the stop where the kids turned in their Junior Ranger Books to became Junior Rangers for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It should have been a big splash to end our exploration, right? Actually, Musining Falls, compared... More

The falls were really pretty and several people were beginning their backpacking from here. The ranger at the kiosk was nice and spent several minutes talking to my son who wants to be a ranger. The falls are a short up hill hike of about three football fields. You can view falls from three platforms. One could spend as little... More

Short 800 ft. up to the falls and they were very pretty and picturesque stroll up to the falls. Would recommend.

There were three falls to see. Steps to walk which can be slippery when wet. Two easily accessible but the third was almost straight up using tree roots as steps. There was a warning posted and very visible before you got very far on the trail.

We stopped here first on our 2 day trip to the Munising. There's a small visitors center with information and parking. It's super-easy to get to, located just a few minutes outside of Munising. The hike up to the falls from the visitor's center is short and wide enough for a few people across. Some stairs up to the upper... More

This is a beautiful place and glad I saw it but it is out of the way. you walk (wheelchair access) a beautiful 1/4 mile down to falls and there are benches along the way. I am not a walker but I did it easily. Then there are over sees to take pictures. If you want you can take the... More

This waterfall is very low flowing but very beautiful the drop of the waterfall is pretty high. The background of the rocks are very colorful. You used to be able to stand behind the waterfall or walk up behind it, but there are falling rocks now and they have shut that area off.

Out of all the Falls we visited in the PIctured Rocks area, this was the nicest and easiest to get to. Great visitors center about the past steel making at that site. Real bathrooms are a plus, after an awesome Chapel Loop hike the day before!

Falls are like personalities. Some are wild and raging, some shy, some stingy, and others cool and indifferent. This one was the Buddha. My favorite
