The combination of this waterfall, its running creek and the area's greenery (the ferns included) make this an impressive site to see. Dress appropriately because of the mosquitos. Just a short walk from the parking lot.

Very short beautiful walk. Nice walkway and beautiful falls. We would visit again. Great place for a picnic.

Don't miss this - very scenic. Watch for the mosquitos tho - we went in June and they were pretty bad. Dress appropriately.

Located off a mina street in town, across from the hospital. For photos, shoot near mid-day or the bright background with falls in shadow will not make for a good photo.

All of the ice had not melted when we were there. It was beautiful. Walk was very easy, and we are in our late sixties. Not crowded, but some people had taken their dogs which they didn't pick up after. Too bad.

The National Lakeshore office here was closed at the time of our visit, but there was still a ranger available and the restrooms were open. We had an hour to kill so we did this quick little hike. The trail is pretty and the falls are easily accessible. Unfortunately, you can’t go behind the falls anymore, but still fun.

Munising Falls is handicapped accessible, and is only 1/4 mile from the parking area, so if you're looking for an easy waterfall to visit, this is definitely a great option. It does appear "fuller" earlier in the year after it has rained more.

The Munising area is famous for the ice caves and frozen waterfalls, but is you don't have the stamina to get across the Bay or to hike into the Eben Ice Caves, this is a good alternative. It is only 800 feet from the parking area and in a picturesque ravine.

What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. A quick car ride from town and a short walk to the falls. Walking past the babbling brook and being one of the only people at the falls was amazing. We walked up to the over look (maybe 20 stairs) to get a different vantage point. This is great for all ages... More

This lovely falls is worth the stop during any season but I particularly enjoy fall and winter. A short beautiful walk on a paved trail leads to the viewing platform at the base of Munising Falls. Winter time is less crowded – we were here on December 31 and had it all to ourselves. While the shaded sandstone canyon is... More
