I've been here when both turrets were on the rock one year, then two weeks after one of them fell off the next. It's a very neat area. You get a nice view of it via a trail to a platform. Some crawl around on it, but I'm not sure it's recommended. It's really neat to see the castle surrounded... More

We saw the view from top of Castle Rock about 4:00 in the afternoon. It was a great time of day and made the water such pretty colors along the shore. We also were lucky enough to time it when the Picture Rock Cruise ships were going by (we had been on the tours earlier in the day and had... More

It was a cold blustery day and I had less than hour to enjoy it. I viewed it from the Look out decks. Beautiful.

Was a fairly easy walk but there are many steps. Beautiful view of Lake Superior from here. There are bathrooms and picnic tables available.

Beautiful park, helpful visitors center and great overlooks. To hike to Moner's cAstle isn't the same as taking the boat tour, but certainly worth the time and effort. It's a very easy walk to all three overlooks and a short hike to,the beach. The hike to,the beach is a through the forest, so there are a lot of roots and... More

It's an easy stroll from the parking lot to the rock - and the view is amazing! The kids loved it, the dog loved it, we loved it!

Well worth the hike in. The shoreline combined with the spectacular rock formations are a must see. I also enjoyed the educational plaque that showed before and after pictures of how the rock formations have changed in the area over the last hundred years or so.

Make sure you go on a nice day so you can walk the upper park area and get great pictures overlooking the Castle. If you look close, there is water running through the structure almost looking like a waterfall.

This was really beautiful. My mom, who is on a cane, could walk to the 1st overlook. I walked lower down the cliff to take everything in. The walk to the lower observation is easy going down but be aware it is steep going up. There is a lot of handicapped parking there.
