Beautiful views, small visitor center with restrooms, easy public access and all that brings...picnic tables.

Great place to stop. Couple of decks a higher deck and lower deck. Also connects to the north country trail. We got caught in the mosquitoes so we didn't stay too long. Nice area with bathrooms.

You can see this from the picture rocks boat tour but it's worth it to drive there and walk to the overlook to see it from up top. Breathtaking. We only went to the upper overlook - were afraid of too many stairs for the next one down.

Beautiful.. Make sure you bring bug dope!! If you stay on the top platforms its okay but if you walk the trails or down the steps to the water you will need bug spray. The park ranger says they usually have some but were sold out when a couple hikers ask for it. We do this each time we are... More

Fantastic view on a sunny day. It's almost like you are seeing a Caribbean Bay area. This is located in a park with admission to get in. Nice walking trails. Great place to visit while in the UP.

Pack a lunch from Falling Rock Cafe or Rock River Cafe and eat here. Great overlook of Lake Superior and Miner's Castle. A short path behind the rock formation is to the right.

This is a must see! Its one of those once in a lifetime kind of places that you must see. Pictures just don't represent it's true beauty. When I came, there was still ice on lake superior too. It was a warm day though! There are two observation decks - one above and one below (on level with the rock).... More

Glad we came! We were able to see some of the shoreline from the two excellent viewing platforms. There is a nice visitors center and the facilities are clean and well maintained. The views were better than anticipated. We were here the week before Labor Day and the trees do not have leaves yet, so the views were unobstructed. This... More

This is one of the highlights of the Pictured Rocks. That does mean it is busier, but it is still worth it. You can also see Miners Castle from the Pictured Rocks cruises.

This is a must see if you are in the area. You can get some great pictures! There are two different over looking decks to view this amazing rock formation from. From one of them when you look down you can see how clear the water is and it changes color from the shallowest area to the deepest of waters.... More
