Nice trails and waterfalls. Take the boat tour. It was worth it and the only way you can see most of the rock formations.

Well worth the long drive from eastern Ohio. We only had one day there so we did the cruise and the sights were amazing. I'd love to go back and do the hiking portion.

This shoreline is really only seen by boat, your own or a Boat tour. Don't forget to bring your camera as there are many photo ops. The lake water is so clear that you seem to be able to see almost a mile deep. For a Boat tour, I recommend you choose one side or the other on the boat... More

We have been to many of the National parks, but when we started planning our Great lakes trip we saw this on the map and decided to make it a destination. So glad we did. The views were wonderful. The sunset was fantastic. It was hard to really see the pictured rocks from the shore so if we ever get... More

This place is nice but if you have pets you should leave them at home otherwise they gonna stay in car for most of the time. This is place is definitely not PETS FRIENDLY.

Breathtakingly beautiful spot in the U.P. of Michigan. Do visit this area and see what it has to offer. Hiking, strolling, kayaking, fishing, boat cruises. The pictured rocks are not to appreciated any other way than in person. The pure scale demands your full attention and draws you in. Go, go, go and take the cruise!

We did the sunset cruise and found the captain very entertaining and the cruise majestic! Well worth the cost. You can't see the beauty from land and this tour had great views going both ways. Would recommend sitting on the top and towards the back to get best views. Just be prepared as it gets very cold when the sun... More

The scenery in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is amazing. Pristine and peaceful stone beaches, colorful cliffs, rock structures and waterfalls on the shore of Lake Superior. We were surprised to have fog roll in in mid-summer, and the temperature can swing 20-30 degrees in a short period of time, so dress accordingly. You'll want to bring bug spray in... More
