Worth the trip north.

Loved the views and accessibility to everything. Do avoid driving all the way to Grand Marais. It's far with not much to see. This is a gorgeous park and well worth the visit

The day was perfect, sunny and warm, for the boat ride to see Pictured Rocks. I chose the 4p.m. Spray Falls Cruise and really enjoyed the ride. The rocks were beautiful and I felt It was well worth the $ paid to see this American natural beauty.

Our family of five, including three teenage boys, spent three hours on a sea kayak adventure along the picturesque shores of Lake Superior on a sunny and warm day near Munising, MI. We spent the hours of 6 to 9 pm on the water, which is highly recommended given that the setting sun illuminates the northwest-facing rocks during the evening.... More

I've had the pleasure of visiting the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore at least 10 times in recent years, and have never been disappointed. The scenery and views are outstanding, the trails/maps/guides are well marked with hikes for all ages, beaches are beautiful, everything is well maintained, heaven on earth in many ways! Can't recommend highly enough!

Pictures will never do this beautiful natural landmark justice. You have to experience it for yourself.

We had always wanted to take this cruise, and went with our kids and grandkids. We are sure glad we did. The boat was clean and the crew were super. Bottled water and pop were only $1.00 and ice cold too. The colors of Lake Superior changed from deep blue, to light blue and then green depending on the depth... More

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Pictured Rocks from the boat cruise and taking several of the hiking trails. The water is the best way to see the colored rocks. I've seen lots of photos but seeing it in person was incredible. Highly recommend - so beautiful!

My wife and I spent three days in the park doing three very different sets of activities. 1. We hiked a loop trail from the Chapel parking area - to the falls, Chapel rock/beach, along the cliffs for a few miles and then back up the Mosquito trail. Its 9+ miles but mostly flat and breathtakingly beautiful. I definitely recommend... More

Beautiful place to hike. The hiking is easy for all levels of hikers. I just would not take small children. Be sure to wear long sleeves & pants or use lots of bug spray. The mosquito's are terrible. Pictures can't do it justice

We were a group of 6 adults coming up from Gaylord to see Pictured Rocks. None of us had been there before so we were a little lost about the best way to see the Rocks, and what to do in the area. Luckily, as soon as you arrive there is a Welcome Center there to answer all of your... More
