Take the time to venture here. Then do the cruise...just great to get both perspectives. The water on top of PR looks like the Caribbean & we sure were not expecting that!

Awesome rocks, but you must see them from the boats that take you out there. We took the extended tour to Spray Falls and it was totally worth it. The driver of the boat got in real close to the beautiful rocks. We could hear the narration well and thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride.

We have taken this cruise several times, but this is the first sunset cruise. We did it in August, so just a light jacket was needed. The view at sunset was equal to views that we've had at sunset in the Gulf of Mexico.

Beautiful national park with a wide variety of vistas, trails, waterfalls. Miners Castle and Munising Falls are 2 must do, but there is something for all abilities. No admission charge.

It's incredible that I've lived my whole life in Michigan and barely even heard of the beautiful cliffs, sea caves, and other rock formations that make up the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. Everybody should see them at least once, and there are a few different ways to do it: by boat, by car, or by backpacking. I hope to try backpacking... More

My husband and I recently returned from a road trip of Pictured Rocks. We are from southwest Michigan, live on Lake Michigan, and thought it would be a nice getaway to see Pictured Rocks and also all the beautiful fall colors. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore completely succeeded our expectations. We actually both agreed that when seeing certain lookout points we... More

If you have time, the pictured rocks boat tour won't disappoint. Go to the upper deck of the boat for great pictures.

I hadn't heard of this park before planning a trip to the UP but we are really glad that we camped here for two nights. This is a perfect place to hike, camp and go kayaking as well. The cliffs are really something to see with all the colors.
