Had a blast!! We went in August 2013. You can actually see shipwrecks through the glass in the bottom of the boat. Its an awesome experience you do not want to miss. Make sure you bring your camera so you don't miss a thing. Also dress warm too.

We visited three ship wrecks all around the Grand Island area. The sky was overcast so the viewing was a little muted. Our tour guide was funny, and very nice and informative. The tour was a bit pricey, but we didn't expect to see three wrecks- so well worth it.

The shipwreck tour is a wonderful trip back in time along Michigan's Shipwreck Coast on Lake Superior. The guides are well versed in the history and viewing the wrecks up close and personal was almost like stepping aboard a nineteenth-century sailing vessel. Just as interesting was the landscape along the shore of Grand Island and a view of the south... More

This tour goes above and beyond. Not only was it very easy to see the remains of the shipwrecks, but the guides were very informative. We saw a lot and learned a lot. We would definitely do this again.

The shipwreck tours are conducted on special glass bottomed boats that are suitable for Lake Superior weather. We visited three shipwrecks. All were in amazing condition, considering they've been underwater for over 100 years. The narration was clear and concise. The boat navigation, driving to the upwind side of the wreck and drifting over the wreck, was precise and purposeful.... More

When we boarded the ship, we weren't sure where to go. The weather did not permit us to sit in the "open air" upper deck, and all of the bench seats below were taken. It looked like there were bench seats that folded over the glass bottom viewing area, but they were left in the "up" position. Others that boarded... More

It was really cool to be able to see the shipwrecks in Lake Superior through the glass bottom boat. The views from above deck were great as well. The crew were very informative.

I absolutely loved that they took our picture before we got on the boat, it was a great souvenir for very cheap. Our Captain was amazing and so was the commentator and the woman helping to tell us what we were seeing and about the past and Grand Isle. We saw so many amazing ship wrecks, it was breath taking... This was the one thing I wanted to do on our recent trip to the UP and it did not disappoint. The weather was beautiful, a great day to be out on the lake, if nothing else. It wasn't too crowded and everyone got a great look at the shipwrecks. It was eerie seeing the remains underwater in such great... More
