This is a lovely piece of art. Although not maintained well, some part of it is almost gone. Out of seven horses, only one is intact. Out of 24 wheels, only one completely preserved. Stone carving is awesome. Tip: Please note that from the car parking site to the Sun Temple, it is hardly 250m distance. But local auto rickshaws... More

What a pity, we Indians are such poor marketeers of our heritage. Absolutely amazing site. Clean, very clean beautiful manicured lawns. the structure on its own is amazing. Centuries old and the workmanship and carvings are wow.

One can see the beautiful architecture in this temple. What a sight to see. One can learn a lot if you get a good guide. Check for the guide at the main gate, there is board. Use official guide only, preferably Senior Guide. Take time to understand carvings and take lots of snaps. One will require atleast one day to... More

The temple has interesting history which you will come to know only if you hire an authorized guide which is available at a reasonable price. The temple was under yearly renovation so the pics was not as desired. The hawkers outside sell a wide variety of miniature artifacts which can be bought at very reasonable price though after a bit... More
