Arrived late one evening after a difficult journey. the welcome we received was fit for a king! Our privacy is well respected and all the staff are polite and discrete. Security seems very good as well.

We took a three day / two night trip from Tripoli. It is 400 miles each way and so takes the best part of the day but the old city is fascinating. Estimated to be between 2000 and 4000 years old it is now possible to wander around the streets and also make your way up on to the rooftops...

We visited Ghadames with Arkno Tours a Libyan Travel Company in January 2007. After a two week tour of Libya we have come back to Libya to live and work.
