I have a mixed opinion about this campground. Overall we had a relaxing weekend the campground was very quiet with not many people camping . We arrived after dark and the office was closed they have a phone to check in on but it was not working. Since I had a reservation we headed to our site. Their sanitation station... More

This is a nice campground. We go here often because it's close to home and convenient for us. It has two sections, North and South, it is best to camp in the South section because you are closer to the beach and the sites are bigger. They really cram you into the North section. We tend to camp during the... More

Foul mouthed, trashy, drunken bully neighbors partied loudly til midnight, left, then roared back into campground at 3 am and started all over. No one came around to enforce quiet. Tried to call office, got machine. For 3 hours sleep, I paid $32 ( one person, tiny tent). I didn't get a chance to enjoy facilities at all. Yes, I'm... More

You get harassed for anything louder than a whisper when you are just trying to have a nice time with your family at a reasonable level of sound. The grounds are not very well maintained and the beach is nothing special at all. The campground is very overcrowded and the people are not very welcoming. This is not the place... More

The park hosts and DNR go all out. Great family atmosphere for safe, fun and outdoor activity. The campsites are spaced out far enough that you're not on top of your neighbors, but not so far apart that you have to walk a mile to the bathrooms, playgrounds or beeches. I would like to have caught more fish, but that's... More

The day use part of the park includes a beach & swimming area and hiking trails. There are also lots of picnic areas and areas for shore fishing. There is also a boat launch ramp for their no-wake lake. Camp sites are typical State Park site with electrical power. I know they have one or two cabins to rent but... More
