I'm a sculptor and painter and I love this place. The art is fun and some is interactive, the setting in the woods is beautiful and it feels really easy to access and enjoy a relaxing time in a beautiful place with whimsical sculptures. A great place for family. More

I've been to many museums that survive off Govt grants on the order of tens of millions of dollars. Here's a place that's more fun, it's outdoors, it's free (donation recommended), and it not only isn't supported by tax money, it has been actively fought by local bureaucrats. Take your whole family and check this place out.  More

For children and adults! There is lots to explore, a local artist with lots of talent! Bonfire area, pavilion, live music sometimes - a definite must see! More

Friends and I came upon this place on our snowmobiles. There was a campfire already lit and free hot chocolate and snacks. We drove through the park and The sculptures were awesome! Wish I could have gone through during the daylight hours. Definitely worth the extra time to go through. More

We've driven by Lakenland so many times, wondering what the heck this place was. On one of our drives back into town we decide to drive in and check it out. We were very pleasantly surprised! We took our time driving through the park with our family and truly enjoyed all the different statues. We went back two weeks later.... More

Ok, let me begin with saying I'm not one that can tell someone if this is art, but I can tell you that my eyes were facinated by the works of these sculptures. The area has waterfalls and other natural beauty, but this was the highlight of our trip. There were sculptures that were geared towards all ages...hard to have... More

Unlike the previous reviewer, who says he has no knowledge of art, but didn't think this qualified as "real" art, I do have an Art degree from a major university and taught Sculpture for 30 years. Trust me on this, Tom Lakenen has talent and passion. He is a true artist, regardless of his lack of an art degree. If... More

My wife and I went to Lakenenland based on TripAdvisor reviews and, this time, were disappointed. It is possible that these sculptures are real art and I don't have the artistic nature to understand or enjoy them. I also concede that young people might find them funny, charming, or interesting. Other than that, I felt like I wasted my time.... More
