OMG....what an amazing course to play. We were paired with a couple from Wisconsin and the four of us had WOW coming out of mouths almost at every turn. It was very difficult with all the undulations in the fairways and greens, but we would go back in a heartbeat. We were hoping for fall colors but Michigan seems to... More

We had 2 foursomes play here on a beautiful September day. Most of us had never played here. The course is challenging as there are very few flat lies. The greens were lightning fast downhill, but very slow uphill. Several greens are rounded so the ball does not hold and rolls off to a collection area. Those that aren't rounded... More

Played this solo today on our way thru circle trip. Several friends had told me not to miss this and glad I didn't. The course guide was a lot of help in getting thru the first time. Key was following that and keeping in fairway and you would score. Several holes of panoramic views and greens carved out of rock.... More

Recently played Greywalls for the first time ever in mid-August and the course is just a wonder to enjoy. By no means is it an easy or inexpensive course but true golf nuts must put this one on their play list. The course offers plenty of breath taking views on every hole. Not all of those views are of Lake... More

I highly recommend golfing at the Marquette Golf Clubs Grey Walls Course at least once. At $130.00 a round it is a bit pricey but the views of Lake Superior are well worth it. Several holes lend themselves to Lake views that you just have to break out the camera for. While the course is a par 71 Championship Course,... More

Greywalls may be the greatest golf course that I have ever played. Not only is the scenery beautiful, it is hypnotizing to imagine the design process that Mike DeVries went through. Greywalls will offer a fair, yet challenging round for any golfer. You NEED to play this golf course, no matter what it takes.

I had the pleasure of playing Grey Walls as part of the Island Resort foursome package. I had played TimberStone several times over the years and I've enjoyed every visit. This was my first trip to Grey Walls and hopefully I'll have several more. It's hard to fathom what the architect saw on his first visit to the property but... More

This is one of the best pieces of land in Michigan with a golf course on it. Beautiful course to take pictures. Saying that it also is an unfair course. Many golfers couldn't play its layout.

We played Greywalls in September as part of the package deal with Island Resort and Casino, along with Sweetgrass. I give them one credit, is that the views and course condition are spectacular. The course is very challenging, but maybe too "tricked" out, which is almost "gimmicky" to me....If they need to trick out the fairways and hazards as much... More

These surroundings are beautiful. The cliffs and forest make the course a place to visit. The actual club house is dated.
